Some interior shots. Not my best area but it came out ok. Wasn’t going to put seatbelts in her as it’s pre 1968 federal regulations. But if I was to drive her today, she needs belts.

NOBLING thank you for the heads up on the hood and steering column. Fit the hood with the nose piece and it sat up high. Cut down the nose a little and she fits great, I will watch out for the radiator fitment. Cut the steering column down a little. You’re right, it’s way too long. These things really help. Thanks for the advice.

Not quite as good as Keefs interior , it’s good enough for me. Better than black.

This GTO is a build I am doing to just build a 1/24 to enjoy. Not many mods, just enough to keep her simple. The detail stuff will come on my 935/78 and 917/30 mfh kits. Wanted to build something really simple, because the detail builds will be next. Here is a pic of my 935/78 engine. Plenty of detail there.

Thank you NOBLING. I did check that and everything fits and looks good. You cannot see the chassis inner fenders from the engine compartment so it will be fine.

The chassis is comming along. I fit the chassis and body once to check the stance before paint, the fit is a little tight so I’m continuing without fitting the chassis because of paint chipping. The interior is next and I hope I can come close to the color of Keefs pictures. I need to order some more gravity colors for interiors. They are the best. But I’ll try to come close. I drilled out the gauges in the dash, and put instruments decals from the foose impala kit on a piece of plastic. It looks better than what was stock. Other than that I’m leaving the rest stock. My interiors are just ok at best. Not a my strong point. I wish I had those gravity colors. My 1/8 Ferrari seats turned out great.

Tried something different for me. I painted the trim with revell chrome paint. I usually foil but I thought I would try revell chrome paint. Looks more like polished aluminum but it’s close enough for me.
  15. Very nice. Great color choice.
  16. Restored this one a few years ago. Cleaning her up for hot August nights

Keef I’m going to have to try the color you suggested. It’s stunning in every way. Unfortunately, interiors are my weak point on a model. But I will try hard to copy the pics you sent. Man , that’s beautiful. Thank you for the pics.
