I envision your bench to look like an operating table with sterile tools, proper focused lighting and assistants handing you the called out tool or instrument. This is a thing of rare beauty.
Very well said Randy. I HAVE seen this in person and it is awe inspiring and takes your breath away. When you finally get the opportunity to see this one in person, bring a respirator.
Johnny, this is such a wicked build, its just over the top, seriously over the top. Say, I've studied the photos and I can't see where the pistol and rifle went. Can you show some pictures of them? Actually, I just want to see more pictures.
Thanks so much for the feedback fellas. I is really appreciated. My holdup on this build has been making the windows for the camper. I think I have a solution and it will take a bit of figuring and experimentation to see if it will work. Appreciate your patience.
I think right now FB is the only way. He's building a new shop and probably won't be done until spring depending on winter weather so he doesn't have a website now since he's not fully up and running.
MicroNitro is now Dancing Bear Scale Components and he's slowly gearing back up to production. Not sure if he plans on offering the 1/16th scale wires spokes again.
Nice builds guys. Speaking of Christmas themed builds, I've always wanted to build this. Would need an appropriate snowman or I suppose I could make one..
W T H !!!! Where have I been? Just getting caught up on this riveting build and I must say you're been a busy Johnny. When I saw the original car picture in the first post, I almost jumped out of my seat in anticipation and excitement. You certainly haven't left one detail out on this brother. Keep after it.
One doesn't 'move' the post, one creates a new one with a link to this build post. Love this clean, crisp build of yours Fred. I'll check back in a year but sure hope it doesn't take that long for whichever you decide.
The metal cladding on the office wall is actually printing plate. Thin aluminum sheets that have been used on a printing press. I pick them up from a local shop and offer them a few bucks for each. I use them for all kinds of things. For example, I built the tool stand/welding cart out of it.
