  1. My hat's off to you Tim, well in all actuality, its been off for some time. I think I need some sunblock for my dome. I can only imagine the number of fuel lines that didn't make the cut. Outstanding!!
  2. Very nice Art. That paint job looks like you could just fall right into it.
  3. Wow...Tim. Those exploded photos of the parts really says everything about this incredible build and your varied talents in working with various materials. Mind blown.
  4. I'm not so sure he's even human. He's a scale factory with an abundance of minions on speed.
  5. I think you stole the shrink ray from the minions and either shrunk the chassis or yourself, I haven't figured out which is the case. This is a true piece of art and just doesn't seem humanly possible. We're not worthy.
  6. Always loved these two early Monogram 1/32nd scale kits. I feel lucky to have both.
  7. Thanks for your comments Patrick. The aluminum square channel has 1/16th" aluminum tubing inside and inside of that is brass rod that goes into drilled holes in the square tubing then covered with aluminum printing plate for the outside skins. Everything inside the 'camper' is all scratch-built. For example, the chrome coffee pot is the top button on a ball point pen with an aluminum printing plate spout and handle and a small clear blinker lens from the parts box. Here's the thread for the build process.
  8. One more. Jeep service vehicle with snowplow for my grandfather's DX station in SW Iowa. Haven't gotten very far with this one.
  9. No wait, there's still more. Vending truck with scratch-built plywood box. Working steering and doors.
  10. And yet another. 4WD Jeep with working U-joints in the functioning steering. Just plain lost my mojo on this one.
  11. Another stalled one is this replica of a '59 Chevy Scout Truck that went through the African continent in '59 and '60 as part of an Airstream caravan. I'm so close, I just gotta get it done.
  12. Staled projects? Yea, I have more than my share. My oldest is probably 30 years or so. Long before PE, after-market items, I built this Willys with tilt wheel, functioning carb linkage, functioning gas pedal, working U-joints, 1/20th scale Tamiya rear rubber, etc. Worked myself into a corner with the roll cage and the door hinges needing to occupy the same space. Put it in a box.
  13. Kurt - that's kicks tail. Very nicely done indeed. Love me some gassers.
  14. I was wondering how the driver got in. Now that makes perfect sense. Another Teresi one-of-a-kind build. You're making great progress. At the speed in which you build, I expect this to be done by Saturday. If only the paint could dry faster.
  15. Gotta love this one. Very well done.
  16. Since the well has dried up on 1/24 and 1/16 scale dragster front rims, I would love to see these come back. See picture. I'd also like to see some really detailed pulleys for engines with blowers. Maybe some detailed valve cover breathers. Just a few ideas for now.
  17. You're off to a great start. I'm dialed in for this build. Lovin' those front wheels.
  18. I'm definitely following this one Chris and congrats on your funny car honors at Nat'ls. So deserving.
  19. I cannot stop staring at these last few pics out in the sun. Great job Chris. I know its been a labor of love.
  20. The wheels and tires are from two different kits and not the Tony Nancy double kit.
  21. Man, I wish I could make it especially with it being right here in town. Your Vega built is going to really turn some heads and widen some eyeballs. How many to-do's are left on your build list? I know you're putting together a build book too so I imagine you're pulling out all of the stops on that as well. Enjoy your time there and have fun.
  22. That's crazy right there. Looks just right. I'll bet that took awhile to get through that Dremel attachment. Those guys are hard.
  23. Geez John....I look at your builds and wonder just how you do it. They look absolutely perfect and your weathering techniques make them even more so. Keep building lil' brother.
  24. I've really enjoyed following along on this build and love your execution on many of the challenging parts of this creation. Love everything about it. Stunning to say the least.
  25. Man there are some really great builds here. Kudos to all. Brett - Id like to know what you're selling in the concession stand because some of your patrons look like they've been having a really good time.
