  1. Looks oh so right brother. Did you allow a bit of tolerance for the paint thickness?
  2. Another task marked off the list. Those tins look great brother.
  3. No, no new photos. I was just letting everyone know I updated the photos from PhotoBucket to Fotki so they now show up on this thread. I haven't worked on this since the last post, I know its been a long wait.
  4. Cool. We'll have to hook up.
  5. While going through my stash and loose parts, I've found a few more items to add so I'll being adding them in the next few days since I've been preparing them over the last few days. I built a creeper out of wood that I posted in my '66 Suburban thread but I may just add it to this dio along with a gas can, crankshaft and various other items.
  6. I think I'm going to be ill. Holey schnikies, that is suburb Tim. Were you a machinist in your former life? I could not figure out what you had put on the front of the tank until I realized it was a reflection of the cap. Threw me off for a bit.
  7. Another great build from your stable of well built cars John. Liking this one too. Since you live in Payson, you should get down to the Valley to our Desert Scale Classic model car contest and swap meet in April. The exact date escapes me at the moment. You'll love it.
  8. Really nicely done RRR. I especially like the subtle paint fade and your choice of scoop.
  9. I'm really liking this Chuck. It has attitude to spare.
  10. Ohhhhhh brother, those lines are so crisp. I'm completely blown away each time you post a different viewing angle of that beast of an engine. Kudos brother.
  11. Thanks Ernesto and Chris. Just can't seem to get my mojo back so its going kind of slow.
  12. I was fortunately able to view this in person last night at our club meeting. Pictures are nice but in person...wow. Can't wait for the next update. Well done Paul.
  13. I just spent a half hour studying and really enjoying this work of art, and it is truly a work of art. My hat's off to you Paul.
  14. Man Kit, those are nicely done so far. Keep me posted on your progress.
  15. Yay!! Another 'zilla creation. Looking forward to more imaginative inventiveness from your bench. I've been missing it.
  16. Incredible craftsmanship and fabrication. This not that far from building the actual car in 1:1 just takes up less garage space.
  17. Beautiful build John. Keep posting, your stuff looks great.
  18. I've slowly been working on this build now that a few mail order parts have come in. Hope to get something picture worthy by this weekend.
  19. Great, thanks. Now there's another tool I need to get. I hate it when I have a task to do and not having the right tool to complete it. Those calipers look awesome Tim. I suppose you made those too.
  20. You are correct Alan, it was the Gunter brothers and I always loved the looks of this car.
  21. You're nuts, certifiably crazy but in only the best way possible. Dr. Frankstein would be proud.
  22. Spectacular update and I'm thrilled to see the juices flowing again. We need to have a chat soon to get caught up.
  23. If it we me, I'd keep it as close to Harry's rendition as possible but that's just me.
