I'm building a 66 -67 or so Cobra 427 ( the big mean one ) The box art shows a black car but I'm not doing the black car I'm going to be doin it in the color they looks best in ..... Blue. Most of what I find shows the seats black whats gettin me is the dash and interior tub itself. I've seen these be done in black too but the cars I've seen in person are not real Cobras. Should the dash and tub be black also or should they be body color ??

Built this car in 24 hours Thats counting from the second the box opened to the time I posted the first pics online.... just had fun with it Some builds I still aint finished lol but on average its a few weeks to a month

Finished up redoin my 87 Thunderbird tonight As ya can see it's slightly lowered but still very stock looking. But wait ... whats that in the lower bumper ?? I sense some Deception here ..........This Bird Is a Terminator !!! Hehe originally decided to put this engine into a 92, when the 92 was damaged beyond repair I spied this 87 and decided the Thunderbird Terminator Coupe would be born. The engine is a combination of the revell 99 Cobra engine and the supercharger and such from the Mach III Kit The suspension is lowered via cutting rear springs and heavy modifying of the front K member. The rest of the car is as stock as it was the day it was first built.

Ok lol wtf is goin on here Phillips headlights look like mine ..... lol
-
Dave I've seen them with that trim and trim like mine so I went the way mine is done. Your obviously right about the Headlights tho I followed the boxart on that one ... doh Guess I got a bit more fixing to do
-
Harry all the ones I found pics of or seen in person have lighter grey bumpers nowhere near black. Might be sun bleaching in action tho. You are right about the Shiny they did shine more than they should have but I went ahead and left it alone they aren't as shiny as the pics make them to be As for them being body color I've seen more in grey than ever in body color

Decided to bust out a quick build. Did just a spray and build type build. Not much to a Stock Grand Caravan. Laid down Krylon silver over the molded red body which seems to have killed the red. Put some grey on the bumpers and side trim. It may be a bit light from original but I've seen em in varying shades of grey so I'm leavin it. And to answer the inevitable question of Why did I build it?? Cause I wanted it lol I'm weird like that lol Taking note of the funky look the headlights have and am remedyin that issue as I post lol Fixed the issue with the headlights

John No Lawton sucks when it comes to LHS all we got is a Hobby lobby too. Gotta thank ya for what ya doin if it weren't for ya folks we'd probably lost a lot more out in the Mountains This been a bad year for fires here. We had a massive one west of town rolled from the morth end to the south end of town right along the city limits burned very few occupied homes tho. had some up around Medicine Park not long ago I think that one got a few houses too. Hopefully we're gettin outta this drought and can get some of this rain around us now

Thanks for the compliments guys Gave it to its owner and he was happy Nathan to answer your question the fenders on this kit are molded to the Chassis. On my channeled 32 I took a chance and cut them away from the frame was kinda an experiment once I succeded I went ahead and built it. I dunno that it'd make a good highboy tho once ya get the fenders off the frame aint a thing of beauty and is missing a lot of the feature of a 32 Rail Mines channeled body just hides it all

Finished up this 32 Ford Roadster today. Built this for a friend. He asked me to build it so I agreed as long as he let me have my way with it. As ya see he was cool with that. Started with the Monogram 32 and tossed all the vintage parts aside and got into a Revell Kit.... This car has the Revells front and rear suspesion the center section of the frame so the modern ladder bars will hook up and the full 302 from the Revell Kit. And a shot of it next to an earlier encounter I had with a Monogram 32

I have one thats similar. Its a quiet little dude too. Never realized it was for an airbrush ..... Hmm Got the start of an airbrush setup and didn't even know it lol -
The problem I see aside from the obvious combustion melting the engine down the first turn over and the size of the parts is it running right if at all. I seem to remember an article about a dude making a larger scale Ferrari ... that actually ran ( he had lots of cash ) Seems I remember that it idled fine but after a certain RPM it didn't wanna go right certain things moved too fast for it to do so. That being said we are talking way smaller than he did his in so I don't even see it being able to idle at all. I'd also have to say if it was possible to make a running engine out of the plastic we use .... why are there no actual Running Visable V8s ??

Awesome deuce Looks perfect. I usually don't like a highboy but this one looks right
