Hiiiiiiiisssssssssssssssssssssssssssss I see a GM in a Mustang thread !!! lol now I'm starting to feel left out on the GT500s lol I so want one I keep seeing a Satin Black one in an ad in my Stang Mags and think It kinda fits the car so now I need at least two one for that version and my typical all black stripe spoiler delete one lol Still aint touched my Bullit guess I'm still disappointed with it been tinkering with off topic builds like my Roadster Fiero ... Which might be partially on topic depend on what engine I put in lol

I know in the past there were some concerns about the Polar Lights VW Bug. I'm debating pulling the one I have apart and making it a non Herbie. What were the concerns with the kit ?? I'm not a VW guy so to me it just looks like a Bug but if the issues are a simple enough fix I might try to fix them.

I feel the same. We're keeping the talk about Mustangs, and ya never know our 1/1 discussion could be helping our scale builds Still aint done nothing to mine yet still disappointed about that hood. Can you get Future off without wrecking the paint under?? If not my Bullit may be stalled for a while cause I painted this car a year or two ago and no longer have the can of Fathom Green. I sprayed it the same time I did the 68 so aside from the clear on the 08 they were the exact same color

I'm not gonna rule out using those side stripes till I see them. Lately Revells peel and sticks aint been too horrible they are like a vinyl or something. a little trimming to tighten up the edges of those lower stripes and its a go. Couple the peel and stick lowers with the water slide Over the Tops from the full detail I'm sure you'll be using as a donor and you'll have the same look and I doubt no one would be the wiser. The Lower stripe is low enough on the body to hide the fact they are a little thicker and those of you who use clear can clear over them too to lessen the depth

But how do I keep the wife from noticing the bristles are disappearing from her brush ??

Chuck Visors are in the plan eventually.. as for a boot probably not. There's really no room behind the seat for a top and its mech to be stowed. Couple nights ago a Fiero Roadster was mentioned in Chat .... That thoughts been pullin at me since. So tonight I got tired of this little car sittin on my shelf taunting me. I pulled it down, pulled it apart enough to get at the body and lopped off the lid. Once I got the lid off It was kinda obvious I needed to do something about the transition between the door height and rear deck height. Found a thread on a Fiero forum where a member did exactly as I am .... so I used his idea of angling a line down from the deck to the door. Here's where I am now. It's gonna need some filler on the remaining black behind the door to blent it to the body and some blending in the rear interior and around the intake grilles, but the general look is here and not too bad looking I think. What yall think ??

Bradley the whole Idea of me sourcing another hood is to keep all the Factory stock parts. I can easily return the car to original if needed. Instead of filling the holes on my factory trunk lid I actually have a second Spoiler delete lid awaiting paint As far as the build goes I decided to put some future on my 08 Bullitt ..... glad I only did the hood to start ... it looks like chit now I gotta redo the hood

There are a couple of screw tabs un there that prevent the engine bay and interior from tucking up into the body correctly. Ya gotta shave them down. You also have to make the hood lift off by removing its hinges. If ya look under the open hood I'm sure theres a gap between your fendersa and engine bay. Looking inside the body you should see those screw tabs. I can't remember exactly where they are just remember they are there and that was how I fixed my 68.

Why pay the top cash for one ?? Clone dat sucker lol I'm slowly working towards cloning an 01 with my Daily already got the Spoiler delete trunk lid ... was working on finding the hood but a deal fell through. Leaves the side scoops ( easy to convince the wife I need them since the car got hit lol. and If I'm remembering right I need new C pillar covers and Rocker covers... When the time comes for wheels I'm thinking of finding a vintage style set of Torque thrusts in 15s to keep the stock tire size but dunno

Jonathan Miguels is a 4.0 6 cyl ... won't do us no good on the 4.6s in our kits

Nice ride Miguel! Only part that makes me sad is ya puttin the spoiler on the Spoiler Delete Lid ..... but oh well I'll get over it lol I agree with Jonathan I sure wanna see it when done

I'm hoping somebody here will be able to find this or know where to direct me to veiw it. I'm looking for an older SA Sketchpad drawing. It had a Black custom Starliner I seem to remember the car accros a road and a woman out of the car with a gun like somebody was coming after her. Anyone know of this or have a page its on ?? Thanks

Actually the filler tube goes in the hole not the spot ya have it in .... One thing I learned from years of changing oil ya have reference in front of ya a lot lol The builds look good I need to get on top of mine and quick. Probably gonna end up with a Curbside KR too lol I wanna steal its engine for the Bird of Prey .....hehe
