Excellent job. Thats a beautiful car.

Yeah, and the way the primer is on the front fender (same side) it adds to it. Like they just finished working around the headlight or something. Really nice build chuck. I enjoy your work.

ok you talked me into it lol... think i'm gonna make up 2 or 3 test pieces, then put my laptop on my bench with a pic of those headers on it and go from there. Not exactly sure but it looks like there might possibly be 3 colors, not sure maybe its just how it looks when the blue meets the second color. Thanks for the encouragement Tony i've been trying all kinds of stuff ive never done before with this build so why stop now right. Ron -
Something tells me that you are having an absolute blast when you are sitting or standing at your bench. You have an amazing skill set and vision and I'm looking forward to another build of yours. Or should I call it a lesson? You'll probably finish 3 awesome builds before i'm done 1 average at best

Oh I know, he's incredible. Unfortunately I dont have an airbrush yet though. I'd have to do a really fine tape job anyway, cause when I got them right I primed them and unfortunately I think thats the reason why I cant get them back out (I drilled holes in the block to insert them into. Guess that was a bad idea, or maybe a half way decent one if id of made the holes a hair bigger to allow for paint. Live and learn LOL. Think it would turn out ok if I tried to brush it, maybe water down the colors first or something?? Thanks alot Tony -
You really did that car justice man. I'm taken back! I dont know what else to say. But i'll take a 1:1 version for christmas, please.

Thanks for the info Tony i really appreciate it. Im checking out the tips and tricks section. And i'm with ya I think i'd be leaning towards the garden shed too. I dont like the idea of doing that to a wall in a basement either. Just sounds like a bigger pita then its worth if the garden shed would work out for you. I have an update on the build, took some quick pics just for an idea of what i've been up to, so I think they are actually worse then what they normally are But I have tailights drying, gas tank in place, and steering, shifter and window installed. Interior is just as plain and undetailed as can be, kind of horrible I guess, it just wasnt something I was focussing on. I need to do just that on my next couple of projects (focus on building interior skills). Not that I have any other skills perfected yet but hopefully you know what I mean. Still deciding on whether I wunna leave the headers white or go ahead and paint them the sea blue like the body color is. Not sure which way would look better, kinda leaning towards white but idk... so anyway on with a few pics... Thanks for looking Tailights (drying) that are from a 32 chevy truck kit... and Thanks guys. -

Wow thats a really pretty paint job. Thanks for sharing what your using and a little on how. Cant wait to see more -
You have a nice spot there in front of the window, that looks nice and cozy. Is that a Dremel tool you have hanging there on the side of your table/bench? Thats a neat idea, did you make the hanger yourself or? Thanks Ron
