  1. That's looking really nice! I think you're past all the tricky parts, if i remember correctly. Great job, I like the colors & the rear fenders.
  2. Michael's & JoAnn Fabrics are large, chain craft stores here in the US (and Canada, too, I think). I'm sure you have something similar in the UK. The braided elastic is in the sewing section, but like I said, it's too "old" for this truck. I found a tutorial on making newer style hoses. I'll see if I can find it again.
  3. Shoelaces would be incorrect as they are generally too thick, and make you truck look like it's haulung, well, shoelaces. To replocate cotton jacketed hose, I've had good luck using braided elastic (used to make waitbands & cuffs tight. Check Jo-Anns or Michael's). For the newer synthetic hoses, I've seen yellow tape used quite effictively.
  4. Nice looking ALF. All you need are hoses for the hose bed, and your set!
  5. My sister is Vice President at Mattel in charge of Barbie. I'll see what she cane come up with.
  6. You want 1/24 zombies (what's with zombies, anyway)? Try here: http://www.darkworldcreations.com/ Now, back to the "real world". As for drivers, I kinow the 3 Inches Under does a couple of drivers: http://stores.ebay.com/3-inches-under/1-25-scale-figures-/_i.html?_fsub=2694627013&_sid=1392843&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322 One is a firefighter in full turn-out gear, and the other is modeled after Roy DeSoto from "Emergency!"
  7. That's pretty neat. What's it used for. Something to do with oil exploration?
  8. I think the Transtar 4070A was modified into the Transtar 4070B, and the Transtar 4200 might have been modified into the Transtar 4300 but I'm not sure.
  9. I would think the Transtar II COE would be very popular. I know I woiuld buy one! As for a warp free Bison or General, that would be nice, but I don't think it's possible.
