  1. That's one sweet looking KW. You did a fine job. As to the plates, yes, back in the 1970s you needed a plate for every state you ran through. I agree with JT on the Revell-Monogram kits: they're inexpensive, well detailed for a snap kit, & easy to build. There are a couple of downsides though. The tires are not very good, and if you want to make then a daycab the sleepers are molded with the cabs. There is also no brake details.
  2. I think I've seen this one before. Isn't this paper?
  3. Nice looking ProStar.
  4. Nice looking 352.
  5. Very well done. The drop-deck looks good behind the LoneStar.
  6. HÃ¥kan, you might as well delete the list from SourKrauts. He's impossible to get a hold of, and he never has anything in stock. I tried to get his L10 & M11 for two years.
  7. Looks great! Like part of the set from the show.
  8. I use Testors Model Masters Grun RLM 62. It's a pretty close match (to me) to the Detroit Diesel Alpine Green that was used in the 1970s. The Detroit Diesel Alpine Green that Dupli-Color sells is just too dark, in my opinion. Judge for yourself. Dupli-Color Alpine Green: Testors Grun RLM 62:
  9. No, there is a list on this site. It might take some "creative searching" to find it.
  10. Welcome aboard, Victor. I grew up down in Miami, FL, back in the 1970s & 80s.
  11. This should be really nice. I've been wanting to do one of these for a while. Are those the kit fuel tanks?
  12. You're welcome.
  13. Nice clean build. Maybe some outside shots once the snow stops flying?
  14. Do you mean Car Model, March 1973: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_model/cm-1972-03/cm-1972-03.html
  15. Great looking truck.
  16. Great looking bus. Very realistic. I remember riding on those back in the 1980s.
  17. Nice looking trailer. I like it in black. Yes, it's tough to build a box when nothing is straight. Remember what I told you AMT stood for?
  18. That's pretty neat!
