  1. That sounds interesting. I can't wait to see it. Good luck on your project.
  2. Both kits should have both frames.
  3. I think this is what you're asking for: 48ft Flatbed
  4. Nice idea on the shocks. Those should keep your tires on the ground.
  5. I like your idea so far, and Red looks a little like G.I. Joe!
  6. Looks like the fields next door to me in late October (except that farmer is IH/Case). Great job! I like the gulls; they're very realistic.
  7. Looks good in red. Looks good in the blue, too.
  8. Yep, same stuff: 24awg tinned copper.
  9. Nicely done. Is that a bug screen on the front of the grill?
  10. Looks good. I like it. Is that telephone wire for the air lines?
  11. Sounds interesting. Your hood should be there early next week.
  12. Nice looking 4-1/4, Dave. I like the detail you're putting into this.
  13. That's definately different!!
  14. Earl, that's really sad to hear. My models have had several run-ins with my cats over the years as well.
  15. Nice job, Jim. What did you use on your fifth wheel & where did you ger the Detroit Diesel logos for the flaps?
  16. Dave, that's beautiful! Ok, now I really want one!
  17. The wing is from Eric (Porky). I did narrow it down to 72" (scale) from 84". The real Turbo Wings are only 72" wide.
  18. I think I have a Revell of Germany hood that you can have. As for the wing, check with Eric (Porky). I used his on this W900: It's perfect for the Aerodyne sleeper. You will have to scratchbuild a bracket, though.
  19. I managed to get three done this year: 1976 GMC Astro/95 1980 Kenworth W900 1975 Fruehauf Amoco Tank Trailer Started in 2010 are a 1975 Wilson Livestock Trailer, a 1973 Kenworth W900L, 1976 Mack R685ST, and a 1976 Kenworth K100.
  20. Dave, we can only hope! Oh, and write lots of letters.
  21. Thanks. That's Testors Dark Red brush paint on the seats, walls & floor; Tamiya Semi-Gloss Black (X-18) & Brown (X-9) on the dash; the blanket is Tamiya Olive Green (XF-58), and the sheet & pillow are Tamiya Flat White (XF-2). Dash hilights are picked out with Testors Silver & a toothpick. Steering wheel, steering column & shifter are Tamiya Semi-Gloss Black. I think I used BMF on the door latches & window cranks.
  22. Always nice to see something different. I like them.
