  1. Either way, I suppose it doesn't really matter since this is a custom truck. You could paint it to match the cab it you really felt like it.
  2. Nice looking F1. So you know, the F-100 didn't come about until 1953. Ford F-Series
  3. Can't say as I've ever seen an Alpine Green Series 60. The ones I've seen are a blue-grey, and I've found Tamiya Medium Blue XF-18 to be pretty close (maybe a touch too dark). Here's a real Series 60 from the Detroit Diesel Website.
  4. Matt from DENCON Resin makes a 1950 Ford F-8 kit.
  5. Chris at SourKraut is the only US importer of KFS that I know of.
  6. Actually, a couple of people make 9300 hood conversions. You can get Mo'luminums hood conversion from SourKraut, and Porky had one too; but it isn't listed on his Website.
  7. That W900 from "Thunder Run" looks a lot like the "Movin' On" W900.
  8. That looks really nice. There's just something about this build that appeals to me. It's not "jacked up" 2ft, nor is it lowered so much that it's scraping the pavement. It's just a nice looking truck. Interesting use of nail polish. Did you airbrush it?
  9. Christian, No big deal. Thanks for translating.
  10. Nice looking model. Too bad I don't have a clue as to what you wrote. Je ne parle pas français.
  11. Well? Don't keep us in suspenders, man! Tell us about it!
  12. Very nice. I like you color choice.
  13. For either "Movin' On" truck, you need to use the Revell of Germany cab as it's the post 1973 W900 cab mated to the AMT W900 hood. (The AMT kit is a 1968-72 W900, while the Revell of Germany kit is a 1973-1982 W900.) Also, the truck in the show had a Kenworth tandem torsion bar suspension (available from either the AMT kit or from Porky). As far as the engine, one of the filming trucks had a Cummins NTC350 while the "actual" truck had a Cummins VT903 (available from Auslowe).
  14. Ok, I remember that build now. Is that a Centurion?
  15. Looks good so far. Sure is an ambitious project. I really like the low-boy. Did you start with the Revell of Germany Heavy Haul trailer? Low-boy with a tank? Must have missed that one!
  16. That sounds like the Revell of Germany T900 Australia, which is essentially a US Kenworth W900 with some Australian looking parts. I have a coule of those kits. PM me with your address, and I'll send you one of my instruction booklets. If you want, I'll include a sheet on how to make this a US truck.
  17. An Allison V12? You're definately planning on making your deliveries on time! You'll definately need all those fuel tanks. On the other hand, I suppose you could have put a Rolls Royce Merlin engine from a P-51 in it!
  18. I bet the farmers weren't happy! If you had driven a little more you probably would have had 20,000 liters of butter!
  19. How'd you get one?!?!?! Man, you rate!
  20. His email is jerry@modeltruckin.com
  21. Looking nice, Tim. I thought Schlumberger used orange?
