  1. Try Line-O-Tape. I've never used it, but I've seen it used with nice results.
  2. Welcome to the forum! You wouldn't happen to have a brother named Jim, would you? I work with a guy in Pittston, PA, named Jim Koch.
  3. I was talking about the wheels when I mentioned Jamie casting them.
  4. Are you going to have Jamie cast some of those for you (or should I say us)? Not to be a pain in the "you know where", but how are those Ford W9000 cab & Ford LTL hood coming? They look really nice. I'm planning on doing a Snowman Kenworth W900 here eventually. I think I'll need you on "speed dial"!
  5. Lotso Fotki Nice work, Ben. Those wheels are very realistic. Man! Does that Peterbilt 350 have a long hood!
  6. I couldn't get it to open either, and thought it was just me!
  7. That's looking really nice. The GW Trucks cab that you have is pretty good. I'm pretty sure that it's a copy of the Revell USA Kenworth W900 Aerodyne cab. I like the daylight doors the you made. I'm not brave enough to hack my GW Trucks W900S conversion for daylight doors (and that's exactly what it would be: hacking! )
  8. Looks like it's coming along nicely. I like the color combination.
  9. Very nice. I like this one a lot. Tony, good tip on colored plastic. I'll have to five that a try one of these days.
  10. If you want an accurate Mack Superliner out of the Italeri kit, you've got a lot of work a head of you. It's a challenge. I like challenges!
  11. These articles might help (or they'll totally screw you up, one or the other): Detailing Mack E-9 Correcting Frame Pt.1 Correcting Frame Pt.2 Correcting Cab Putting it All Together
  12. Have a good deployment, and come back safely. What type of unit are you in, or can't you say?
  13. Nice job! I like the stripes. The entire model looks very cleanly built.
  14. I hear ya, Mark! I'm sort of doing he same thing. Fromm what I know, the LoneStar will be 1/25.
  15. Very nice. I like what you've done. That couldn't have been too easy on that cab. The suspension looks good.
  16. спасибо! That's really good information on hinging those doors. Now, I wonder if I can make it work on a 1/25 LT9000.
  17. Here's the link to Revell of Germany's Website: Bill Signs Peterbilt 359
  18. Rumor has it that it's going to be about $132.
  19. Yes, this is good news. It's a good looking tractor, and I have a spare Caterpiller 3408 & a long hood for it. Now, I just have to figure out what to do about the front tires.
  20. Looking really nice, Dave. I like your attention to detail. Maybe you could offer this & the Ward-LaFrance P80 as a "Station 51" package. Hint. Hint. I know that Jbot offers decals for the squad, but who offers decals for the engine?
  21. Very nice. Now, you're assuming that the Code 3 squad is correct. Is the 10-8 body similar to the one that STS offers STS Conversions Page 2?
  22. Scott S. That ALF Eagle dump was off the beaten path on Central Massachusetts. Somewhere on Route 16 near Webster (I think)
  23. That's pretty interesting. I bet turning the real one can be a real pain, bu I bet it goes straight really well!
  24. Well, it depends on what you want. SourKraut's is good, but he does have some stock issues. If you're looking for resin parts there's Dave at American Industrial Truck Models. If it decals you need, then I recommend you get in touch with Jerry over at Model Truckin'. Another place is Model Trucks & Parts. Check out the Czech Truck Modell section! I can also recommend Evan over at Melbourne Model Truck Accessories. Another guy "down under" is Bruce at GR Decals. He has a lot of the Kangaroo P/E. There's also Sharon at Spaulding Trading & Shipping. And there's Special Appearance Decals. If I remember any more, I'll besure to post them.
