  1. They're all fantastic, I really like that roll back!
  2. I like it. Nice color and the stripes look just fine.
  3. If you want some inspiration, check this out: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/41299-adventures-in-solderinghot-rod-wrecker-project-update-2115/
  4. I agree it is a great kit. I built mine for the same reason, it is my birth year.
  5. Spectacular! Very impressive to produce that many high quality models in one year. I've enjoyed watching you build them, and look forward to what's to come.
  6. How do I choose? A blindfold .........and darts!
  7. Nice!
  8. Nice job, very realistic.
  9. Thanks, Jeff.
  10. This is for a 2013, but I found it helpful when I did my Viper. http://www.edmunds.com/car-reviews/track-tests/2013-srt-viper-gts-suspension-walkaround.html
  11. Poor thing, it needs a little TLC. That's cool, Chuck. I like the "delivery" body.
  12. Thanks, Gene.
  13. Steven, if the bulb is molded on a chrome part, with a clear lens over it, painting the bulb with clear orange should work. I did that on a Viper and a late model Mini, and it looked good to me. If the bulb is molded on a clear part or something else, I'm no help.
  14. Thanks Stephen, Bruce, Carl, and Pat!
  15. Awesome work as usual!
  16. Absolutely amazing!
  17. Nice work, Brian. I particularly like the combo wheels you made for the back.
  18. Thanks, Brian. Since the amber is translucent, it makes a big difference what color you put under it. I tried gold, silver, orange, and white. I liked the white base best. The orange wasn't bad, tho. If someone wanted "pearl orange", I think it would work. I may play around with "Stop light red" next.
  19. Thanks gentlemen for all the kind words!
  20. LOL. OK Harry, I'm busted. The outside mirrors are two part, mirror and mount. Trying to glue those two tiny chrome pieces together with no glue showing was more than I wanted to tackle. I fully intended to put in the inside mirror, and I just plain forgot. I grovel in shame and beg forgiveness!
  21. LOL, I was waiting for that!
  22. This one is mostly a paint experiment, that surprisingly worked out. The body paint is Testors square bottle "Turn Signal Amber" over a white base. It gave a nice metallic/pearl effect. Unfortunately, the ol' December sun isn't strong enough to really show the "sparkle". The top is Tamiya "Racing White". It's the Revell "California Wheels" kit, pretty much OOB except changing the wheels and tires.
  23. Nice work! I love these cars. It was the first car I ever bought, and I have many great memories of it.
  24. That looks good! Is that R/T in the background yours too? I did the Revell kit as an R/T in Sublime. I have that Monogram kit, I'll have give it a try. Nice work.
