  1. This is shaping up! Very interesting build you have there! Love the bodywork and the deep dished wheels look great. It's going to be real nice.
  2. The dollhouse flooring sure works! Thanks for sharing.
  3. All this detailing and weathering for an excellent model... Made from scrap parts! I'm floored.
  4. With a Perkins diesel or a big block gas Chevy? While I'm not sure for the Perkins engine, I really like your C60 Arnd, it does look like the real thing!
  5. I like the floor inside, what did you use for the wooden look? Nice match for the Pete. I agree with Richard, BMF "MIGHT" look good on the lower panels, would make a link with the rims. I like the trim on the back doors too.
  6. Spoke wheels in the back to match the front ones would look great. Nice start to this truck though, I like it!
  7. True this! Ben is quick to process orders and has very good quality material and the prices are fair too. I have wheels from KFS and Auslowe, all of which are excellent and Ben's wheels compare very nicely. A couple features I like, you can choose the wheel hubs, and on the ten hole wheels you get nut caps. Very nice touch Ben. I also have the Goodyear rubber high floats and they are excellent.

    69 Camaro

Exactly! And it makes your Camaro only more exotic this way!
  9. Not a Mopar fan in general, but these 'Cuda and the Challenger are the exception. Yours has come out very nicely! I like the attention to detail you gave it. Very neat and clean build!
  10. Looks great! I like the "in the weeds" stance. Very nice custom, nice use of the chain and pintripe decals. Looks purposeful at the same time with all the equipment. Good thing you used Italeri tires in front too, looks a lot better because of them. Where did you get those front rims?? Good job John!
  11. Looks just right! This is incredibly detailed for this scale. Separate windshield wipers, grab handles and steps, really? The rig is barely an inch wide!
  12. By the way, how did you make the front wheel nuts? Or rather, what did you make them with?
  13. Never thought I'd like an old rusted out truck... Impressive job, mate!
  14. They used to be all over the place some years ago. Now all we see are aluminum and steel disc type wheels. What happened? Since they were cast, my guess is they were quite heavy, but there must have been some other reasons for their (almost) demise. Were they trouble to align correctly? I remember seeing a lot of trucks with wobbly drive wheels back in the day... What's your insight on this?
  15. As a matter of fact, in the days these were around, tons of them had spiders, especially on the drive axles and a lot of them on the steering axle too. The 2 hole steel discs sort of replaced these today. I have seen some recent trucks with spokes on, but they aren't common nowadays.
  16. Nice neat truck! Like the other I like the paint and the details you added, it relly make the truck stand out. I like the fact that you painted the grill and the headlight surrounds correctly too, these little details make the whole difference and make it look like the real thing.
  17. For a Midland I think the color is spot-on! Very nice render you did there, looks exactly like the ones I used to see on the highway, way back when!
  18. I'vw seen this one on the 'net before and really noticed it. It's a very nice W900. Lots of aftermarket stuff from P&P, KFS, MCA and Auslowe on it. I like the opening cab doors. Good job!
  19. Yep, nice paint scheme! The Mack and trailer look like they were made for each other.
  20. Well to answer you partly, Modeltruckin.com, has a similar decal model (except for the hood spears and pinstripes) to reproduce the stripes on that very nice gold Pete. But else than the red (pale brown?)colored stripe, you might be out of luck for the brown or burgundy colored one. Maybe if you asked Jerry nicely, he might be able to do something custom for you. That is one nice subject and the Revell of Germany 359 would definitely be the best one to do just that. Have a look at this here:
