  1. That is good news. building the the VN670 was enjoyable enough, I'll have a crack at the 780 for sure!
  2. That C Ford looks great! The Cyclone too!
  3. I like the compact tuff truck look JT, the Lonestar looks great with that tow body, didn't think this tow body could be made to look good. But in this case, it looks just right! Love the classic chrome and black. Nice job!
  4. Well all I can say is that since you built that ol' GMC 9500, I have been a fan. This one is in the same vein, outstanding comes to mind. Thanks for pointing out the work that had to be done to make the truck right, it's helpful for us. Keep on building this stuff, I love it.
  5. Build it and they'll come. Yeah, like you, I've read the Moebius Prostar not selling as well as Moebius thought. It'll take longer to pay off. Just make kits that will sell quicker (W900L maybe??) to compensate! Maybe make a T800 and a T660 spinoffs off of similar molds? A nice modern tanker, B-train flatbed and a lowboy? If nobody tries anything anymore, where are we going to be before long? So yeah, lets have a late model earth mover please.
  6. I'd like the 1:1 version taking a turn on a tight city street corner... Entertainment for bystanders at least for a couple minutes.
  7. Well, what will be in that trailer will surely be cool!!! Funny, no?
  8. NO, NO, NO!!! You cannot! Kidding! If you stand right over the rig, you might see a little but noticeable difference in width (depending on how fussy you are of course). But if you just move away slightly, it won't matter much.
  9. I heard from a friend of a friend that some of the molds for the IH Transtar II and the S-series were left sitting outside the factory and badly damaged when they were sent to China. So we might never hear of these ones again. That would be sad indeed.
  10. Nice to know. Good to know they have a website too.
  11. That is one BIG rig! Nice!
  12. Whoa! One of the nicest rendition of this seen I've seen up to now. Very nice!
  13. Looks like a cross between Pissed-Off Pete and Jessy James' Diesel trike! Looks awesome man, I like the whitewalls and all the freakin' details! By the way, I noticed you have Quebec plates in that cab... Nice.
  14. JT, you like to lenghten frames because you always have tons of neat equipment to put on your rigs! That's why! And Sean, you're in for a fun ride, everything's bigger and easier to handle than on 1:24 & 1:25 cars. I'm not knocking them 'cause some of them are just like little jewels. But trucks are fun! Good thing you shortened the frame, cabovers don't all look great with a mile long frame, especially if it's a fleet unit. Besides, a long frame partly defeats the purpose of a cabover tractor anyway.
  15. I'm digging that fade paint scheme! Can't wait to see this one finished! By the way I have seen a couple of thes really short framed one a couple weeks ago, there wasn't even enough space between the cab fairing and rear axle for frame steps! So yes, these short trucks are out there.
  16. Bound for greatness! Impressive start. I like everything on this one, that front bumper is looking really good... Definitely one build to follow! You sanded the whole cab smooth, most likely the best way to go with this kit.
  17. Nice! I like the black fuel tanks and headlight pods. Nice rig you have there!
  18. That is good inspiration for a 1:25 double bunk... Nice model and color Rob! Those 352's look better with a larger cab. (Me thinks...)
  19. Nice pallets! This is a great way to make them! One cut and they're done, that's the way,uh-huh, uh-huh, I like it!
  20. This is shaping up! Very interesting build you have there! Love the bodywork and the deep dished wheels look great. It's going to be real nice.
  21. The dollhouse flooring sure works! Thanks for sharing.
  22. All this detailing and weathering for an excellent model... Made from scrap parts! I'm floored.
  23. With a Perkins diesel or a big block gas Chevy? While I'm not sure for the Perkins engine, I really like your C60 Arnd, it does look like the real thing!
  24. I like the floor inside, what did you use for the wooden look? Nice match for the Pete. I agree with Richard, BMF "MIGHT" look good on the lower panels, would make a link with the rims. I like the trim on the back doors too.
  25. Spoke wheels in the back to match the front ones would look great. Nice start to this truck though, I like it!
