  1. I agree with the others but the thing is, those trucks are current and they're going up and down our roads, today! So let's have them, let us who wish so, put engines in them and a steering axle like the other Italeri kits and call it a day. But then again, did they sell really well to start with? It seems popular with some of the guys here and I like it myself having built one, but what about overall sales?
  2. Emergency! That's way back when! Very nice replica, beautiful detailing. What is the engine in this beast?
  3. I just love that paint scheme. I would have made it standard on all K100 of the day! Very nice build, I like the subtle mods on this one, the wheels, single exhaust, door and grab handles, roof airfoil... AND a 8V92... Well done!
  4. You know, in this hobby, anything goes. Unless you want to build something that is realistic and know what the truck is going to be used for. Is this going to pull some heavy duty stuff over a long distance? Have fun with it and make what YOU want!
  5. The new wheels and tires make it look right. The truck looks chunkier and more work ready than the kit's original parts. I like the fuel tanks too. Very nice weathering as well! Keep on going!
  6. Nice Chevy! Even if does wear Dodge hubcaps on the left and Chevies on the right...
  7. Well, just had a look at Turbo590's Peterbilt dump truck... I'm going to stop complaining not having the kit I want and just build it out of what I have! Thanks for looking and voting!
  8. Yet another incredible build! There are people with big talent (and patience...) here. Very nice, this is going to be some high quality replica. A 379-127 hood, a Cummins Signature engine, custom exhaust system, a very cool custom scratch built dump box... Excellent detailing. You actually had the guts to paint the fuel tank! Hats off to you. I know that the tanks and wheels come from MCA but the tires, especially the rear ones??? Another thing, what did you do with the wheel hubs, did you machine them off? Please do tell! Another benchmark.
  9. A one man army this Dave! Thanks for making all these a reality man! Much appreciated.
  10. Thanks for the information Pavel! Like Jarda said, your mods make your model look way more expensive than it really is. Can't wait to see how it's going to end up!
  11. That is looking really good Dave. PM is sent already!
  12. Yep, it's lookin' really good! I like your detailing and weathering. your Italeri tire conversion is making this look so much better than the kit's tires, it's a natural change and the tires are the right inner diameter to do it. What I'd like to know is, did you actually add another Italeri rim half to the inner part of the rear wheels also or just on the outer side?
  13. Why is it so bad? Because the paint is chipping? LOL!
  14. Moebius kits have excellent value, Good detail, well defined castings. For the price, they're difficult to beat. I have 2 Prostars, 2 Lonestars,1 Great Dane,1 daycab for a Lonestar.and 2 phot etch kits for them, too. Honing my skills before building one of these jewels though. It really is too bad the Pro is a slow seller, that's one of the better looking modern trucks out there. Not enough chrome on them I guess. But then again, when you have a product that doesn't move as quckly as others, you find out why and try correcting with something else. In my day, you had all kinds of car and truck models at almost every store similar to Walmart. AMT, MPC(annuals, remember those?) and Revell had it real good in those days! But try that today, if you're lucky, you might find a Revell Camaro or Corvette, some Testors glue and not much else. I know kids aren't into this as much as we were, but then again,we didn't have as many video games as they do today. But I wish I could buy a kit up front once in a while, instead of ordering everything over the internet. Anyway, I hope they don't give up on big rigs! Mack Titan, anyone?
  15. Even if we all look up to Jaroslav for the most detailed models ever! You make pretty good work yourself Thierry. I see a lot of plumbing on that frame! By the way the front brake chamber line is really going through the frame, not into the power steering fluid tank. Which is what you did. So that's ok. By the way you should write "tubing" with one "b" not two. You could also say "plumbing". Good work, keep on going with this one!
  16. I like the way you modified the back wheels with the Italeri wheel half, they look even better than original Italeri wheels! Good idea!
  17. I don't usually pay much attention to European trucks but this one looks pretty darned good! Very nice job!
  18. Never thought I'd say rust looks good, but your rust does look good!
  19. Looks good man! I like the look overall, looks mean. I love the dashboard detail painting, very good! Nice truck.
