  1. This is going to look good in these colors. I'd paint the sleeper cab the same color as the hood and cab. I like the 2 hole wheels too, they seem to fit this truck just right. Nice start!
  2. Very nice! I think these Volvo COE trucks are some of the best looking Euros. Good job on this replica, it does look like the real thing!
  3. The best people to ask for these would probably be Czech truck model. Thye really have a comprehensive catalog of photo etch stuff.
  4. Some time ago I built a step deck trailer and used yellow 1/8 inch ribbon I found at Walmart in the hobby department. They sell these in 10 yd rolls. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=70254&hl=%2Bstep+%2Bdeck#entry870437
  5. I'd like to see this kick some Japanese butt! Nice "What if" concept! How about a Mustang or Challenger to compete with Audi/Mercedes/BMW in DTM?
  6. My favorite Vette. Period. Nice detailing and attention to the small stuff! Not sure about the white seats, but the rest is spot on!
  7. Like Tbill said, it IS ORANGE! Isn't it excuse enough for you JT? That should look pretty good once built.
  8. Ha! I had the same idea with a Transtar 4300! This is going to be nice... By the way, fit the hood first and then the cab... Just a suggestion.
  9. All time favorite...it's definitely worth all the thorough work, keep it up, very nicely done up to now!
  10. Beautiful build!! Impressive from every angle. But then, what '69 Camaro isn't worth some sweat? Even small ones! Great stuff.
  11. Looks like a Mustang morphing into a Cobra! Good job!
  12. Ha! In the first 3 pics, you'd swear it's the real thing! Very nice!
  13. Excellent! Beautiful build, looks like the real thing right down to the colors! Nice detailing all over, love the detail paint on the rally wheels. Very nice!
  14. Well that was fun, I voted for everything American class 8 Truck and trailer, hope we get a couple modern kits out there. Truck modelers have a strong showing!
  15. I like it... Little hood, little engine, little frame, little fuel tanks, there is something going on here! What are you going to do with the rims? Paint them to match the rest of the "little" truck or leave them as is?
  16. Hey Kevin, I like the oem paint scheme and the fact that you kept the 5 hole budds out back. I remember building one of these when I was 15 or 16 years old. It was one of the best kits I had built at the time with all the parts almost falling into place! After building mostly AMT's at the time, my first Ertl kit built like a dream! I didn't need to modify anything to make it sit right! Ok, I modified the air inlet snorkel and added a second exhaust stack... I felt like a V8 needed dual exhaust... One thing comes to my mind when looking at your pictures, I seem to remember that this kit had a rear airbag suspension and yours doesn't. Maybe I'm mistaking, I guess it must have been in your kit. Nice clean build!
  17. Excellent looking model you have there, I just wish AMT would have stepped up their detail though. It would have been nice to have a little better chrome trim (front bumper-grill) and tail lights. But as far as your build is concerned, it's doing great! Just love that old forgotten generation Chevelle. That '69 is one of the best looking.
  18. A Chrysler engine in a Chevy... That hurts! But it fits well. Looking pretty smooth up to now, nice job!
  19. Fit the hood before the cab and adjust the cab position according to the installed hood!!! Otherwise, nice start!
