Yes, far as I know, this is my final for the year , recent reissue of the Toyota Crown and Athlete kit, this time with a body kit from Rojam , OOB , did not use the camber option or camber tires, de-chrome the wheels and sprayed them Tamiya Gun-Metal, tinted the windows, Paint is from Scale Finishes(Nissan Black Obsidian ). I know its hard to tell, but I did a really lousy job on the paint job and polishing , and I found the cheapest tint I could found and they did made a mess of it

You know why there is a big difference in prices, its the kit themselves, lets take the Intl Prostar, the parts count is what the internet says around 260, the parts count for Revells Kenworth W900 is 115,The Pete 359 has is listed at 110 parts, thats a difference of 145-150 in more parts. and thats a lot of extra cost in just tooling those 145 parts, and lets be honest, the Prostar/Lonestar are much better kits over all than that KW W900 Or Pete 359 could dream of being. Dont get me wrong, you have a valid point, but you are trying to compare a lower skill level, lower level of detail kit with a kit that is more for skilled builders and is much more detailed. Bottom line is the these people you speak of need to be better informed customers.

martinfan5 replied to martinfan5's topic in WIP: Stock Cars (NASCAR, Super Stock, Late Model, etc.)
Mine will be here next week, will do a review if no one else has by then. -
Here we have a Anceltion Y33 Cima by Aoshima, I did not add the camber and used different tires , and left a few parts off from the body kit, paint is from Scale Finishes , its Nissan dark met gray.

Here we have a Fujimi kit, Scale Finishes paint, OOB
-
Here we have my half rear ended , not even close to being at all accurate other then the decals of Gazoo Racing Toyota 86 , this would have ran in the 24 Hours Of The Ring.

MENG 1/24 Ford F350 Super Duty Crew Cab: Sneak Peek Pics!

The speculation is , there is , or was a dually in the works, the big tell is the parts layout for the bed , all they would have to do is just tool up the dually fenders and just run those parts with the bed being on its own runner. -
Hello Joe, welcome Good news, Revell just released two new NASCAR kits, right now, its only the Ford Fusions of Brad K and Joey L, and they are more of snap tite kit curbside, but there will be more full detail kits of the Chevy's coming towards the end of this year it sounds like. The best price on them seems to be from Tower Hobbies http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=002152672&I=LXFKHW&P=K http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=002152672&I=LXFKHV&P=K If you are wanting older kits and decals, Ebay is gonna be your best and cheaper bet, there are plenty to had for low prices. If you are in need of aftermarket goodies/decals and even kits, this is another good place http://www.mikesdecals.com/index.php

MCM post #13,000

Kind strange that you would make a thread for a 13,000th post, proper forum etiquette says you should do it for every 10,000th post
