Lindberg Dodge Charger Police kit, and Bill Bozo decals Now the only issue with the sheet is it does not include the "Field Operations" that goes on the rear fenders , so I will have to print those myself, I think the reason why is this is a combo sheet that includes CBP and BP and just didnt have the room, dunno Chassis almost completed used a combination of Model Masters Metalizer's on the exhaust , Burnt Metal, steel, aluminum and the wheels, most of the CBP Chargers use the stock wheels, so using the stock set , stripped the chrome, and painted them with Model Master's Metalizer Aluminum , the brake rotors are already on the back side

This has potential to affect new kit arrivals

A lot of the car manufactures have been shipping parts by air , some have slowed down production or stopped productions for those vehicles that need parts from their mother countrys. -
Had my first incident with the cat a few weeks ago, moth I think it was , flying around my work light, cat goes for it, knocks over a open bottle of Model Master Metalizer aluminum and it goes all over a dash that I was in the process of painting.

Supposedly , the model kits come through the Baltimore Port, and not through the West Coast Ports -
Dont use the gel, use the liquid type, I dont think the gel has as strong of a bond.

Hobby Link Japan - good to deal with?

Some of us have been enjoying the exchange rate for awhile now, its a great time to buy Direct from Japan. As for backordering, while I am going to agree with William, there are times where it doesnt always work, or can take awhile, for instance, I have backordered stuff , and got a payment email a few days later, or , I have a set of wheels that have have been on backed ordered since Nov 2013. Or, this has happened three times now, you place something on back order, and after waiting months, the status changes to discontinued . And, might as well add this too, if you a item that says back ordered, of course, there are already orders for it, if you see out of stock, you can still place a order for it, and if you see low stock, that means they have three in stock. I should add one more thing, if you placed an item on back order, and it goes to discontinued, you will not be getting that item, and it will take them awhile to cancel the order for you, I know you are saying well, duh, I can see where it could be confusing when you have something on BO and the status is changed to discontinued but you still have a open order for it. -
Yeah, and the body to chassis, I think I have built a dozen now

I have not used Zero Paints, so I dont want to say they are same, but my understanding is they are, as both are automotive paints, can you agree or disagree with me?, and would you say they are about the same? I have often thought about forking over the cash to get some from Spotmodel. As to Gunze Sangyo Mr. Surfacer 1000, great primer, it of my opinion that its almost better than Tamiya primers, but its not cheap, but worth the money , both the 1000, and 1500 goes on very smooth

I am going to pass on the "Mark Taylor" way of painting with Tamiya paint from the can The entire paint job should only be done using mist coats, and you build it up that way, and in the process, you will get a smooth surface , you want to wait about 5 minutes in between mist coats, the point is that you NEVER do a wet coat.

There is no one that sells Zero Paints in the USA, spot model is the only place right now where you can Zero Paints from shipped to the US, but its not cheap. The only thing close is Scale Finishes paint

Then you got lucky, using the "cheapest" shipping option is SAL, which is Surface Air Logistics , which means it goes by Air leaving its origin, and then again by Surface from the point of entry , and with everything, it has to come through Customs, then its trucked to the destination, not calling BS, but I have never had a SAL package from Japan get to me in less than two weeks. And the other thing with SAL is your package gets on the plane if there is room, if not, it has to wait for the next plane. You know, there is one other reason why tracking is good, if they lose your SAL package, guess what, you are SOL, but I also dont ship one or two kits at time, so I cant use SAL, I have to either use EMS or FedEX, and yes. -
I hope RoG does this one.

FedEx or EMS, which ever one is cheaper , the one thing I like about FedEx is being able to pre sign for the package so the driver will leave it .
