Good!, I really cant wait to see what you do with one. Just noticed that the photo of the engine block did not make it, its there now

This was a quick build that wasnt so quick, I made the mistake of cutting the bed free from the cab, that brought on a whole new set of problems.

Kind of the point, I would not want to darken it up at all, anyways, the difference is one is for the Japan market, and the other one is for the USA market

Oh, it is not sturdy at all without the bracing, after removing the bracing, you are not going to want to handle the body more than need be, I am working on something that I can attach to the underside of the body that will make more stable and easier to paint it.

Bayside Blue is a lovely color, and I have a bottle of it, and was even thinking about painting it in that color, although, but the only blue you can get from the factory on R35's is Ray Blue Pearl is one name for it, which is a little bit darker. This is not a curbside, it does have engine detail, but not 100% of the engine.

This one some how managed to find its way to the work area, darned if I know how that happened , I have no clue as to what color it will, other than a Nissan shade. The body was a little bit wrapped , managed to get it straight Starting with the chassis, not much yet And the brakes/suspension And the engine

Jameston came through, and my bottle of Nethuns Blu is enroute to me, on to some photos , up first, some mock up shots and started work on the chassis , Tamyia Matt Black was used The brake rotors, started off with painting them with Model Master Metalizer Aluminum, followed by Model Master Metalizer Burnt Metal, the calipers MM Metalizer Gun Metal And on all fours , and you can see the wheels have been strip of the chrome plating And another mock up Moving on the engine I believe I used ALcald Aluminum, valve covers in Matt Black

Like Frank said, these are all either Q3/Q4 kits for 2014, seeing how Revell has been pushing back a lot of kits, I am guessing they have pushed back the 2015 Q1 announcement as well But Revell isnt the only company that has been having to push release dates back.

Is there an 'Ollie's' near by
martinfan5 replied to GLMFAA1's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Not disagreeing , but I just want to point out that Hobby lobby has a much greater selection than the "71" different kits at Ollies.
