  1. I almost lost a part to drain gods a few weeks ago, ended up having to take the u pipe off to retrieve the part.
  2. Its not that hard at all really, HLJ beats Tokyo Hobby prices , and for shipping, yes, beat there too, HLJ gives you four shipping options, Tokyo Hobby gives one , maybe two. Now, with all that said, Tokyo Hobby is a great place to buy from, and I do from time to time.
  3. I would rather see a 2014 Charger kitted, but I wouldnt mind seeing a nice stock 2n1 70's Charger tooled up.
  4. A car is only a "girls car" when a women is driving it.
  5. Mark, I agree, it would be neat to have a Thundra in plastic and would buy a few, but being Nissan guy, well, you can see where I am going with this
  6. So I'm jumping into a... an oven, essentially. Yeah, essentially. But, uh, I catch you.
  7. Of course there is no rule, you can build as many at a time that you so desire , I have about 10 current projects going on right now
  8. You are correct, there was zero chrome on them.
  9. Yes, I spend a lot of money at HLJ every year
  10. The prices are ok, but you can get the stuff cheaper elsewhere , they have a listing for a Subaru Wagon, listed at 2900Yen, I paid 1900Yen for mine from HLJ. I am assuming they dont use SAL if you are getting the orders fast, so I guess the shipping isnt to bad.
  11. Multi piece are so much better than one piece tub, I rarely have any fit issues with them, and so much easier to detail paint , I dislike one piece tube interiors.
  12. Very close, I sometimes see that and think HLJ for a second as well
  13. Oh yes, Tokyo Hobby, another great seller, although, I did have a issue the one time I bought from their website(Plaza Japan) the kits never showed up, but they did refund my money. Their prices are very reasonable as well.
  14. No, HLJ does not have a Ebay store
  15. If it was the Charger, I would be all over it , but seeing how both Revell and Round2 have the tooling for the Challenger, I can see it happening. I just noticed, this is posted in the "Truck Review Section".
  16. Lets see, I am going to clear current , or stuff thats on bench to start Following need to be finished Nissan Skyline GTR Lambo Aventador Roadster Hummer H2 Midget , err little people's car (PC correct) Ford GT40 GT3 Projects waiting to be started, these are to for end of the year Mclaren Longtail GTR SUV show down , Nissan Terrano(Pathfinder) and Toyota Surf Wide( 4Runner) I am not sure what kits I will start in 2015 yet Awesome
  17. What's On Your Mind?

  18. Nope, but I do enjoy building Tv/Movie cars.
  19. According to the Wikipedia page, only two models are assembled in the USA, and I quote But does that mean that extends to 2014?, I am not sure, Kia is still Korean, even if its made here, you know thats going to start a hail storm here, saying that a foreign car made here is American
  20. Yes, really, if you are making the 2014 version , the Miller Lite logo at the front of the trailer is bigger then are you going to get from a decal sheet, but the one that goes on the hood from the 2013 car, would probably work, same for the rear of the trail lift gate. If you are going the 2013 , same size decal on the side of the trailer. And as you can see, Penske keeps his trailer really clean of sponsor logos, Not right now, now, and you are not going to be able to make a current Gen6 body from a Gen 5(COT) body, not even close , you are better off getting a diecast , or wait tell Mike @ Mikes Decals gets the 2013-2014 Fusion Body done. You can find decals here, sorry, the website is not set to let you link to each item, you are going ot have to find them on your own, but, just click on the numbers on the left side of the page, and scroll down and you will find them. http://members.optusnet.com.au/pattosplace/home.html
  21. All the decals you can get or could get are not going to be big enough for a 53" semi trailer.
  22. Thats what I am saying....................................................
  23. $25 is the cheapest I found, which is about $3 more then I paid for mine, thats a decent price for the kit.
