  1. Finished it up during the race, I am thinking Joey owes one now (rofl), anyways, decals are from Ace Decals, paint is Scalefinishes Pennzoil Pearl Yellow, tire decals from Powerslide, all my refinements done, lowered ride height, added some plug wires, new spoiler, splitter , wedge bolts and window bracing, rear camera pod and more.
  2. The Unimog came back awhile ago, they started the reissuing with the snowplow.
  3. No no, its going to be a NSU 1000 TT
  4. The fit was really good, there are the three separate decals that need to all be aligned , the only mods I made was cutting a slit in a few different areas to help them settle down better, decal setting can only do so much.
  5. Oh gosh, here we go again
  6. And the Boxer twins( Toyota 86/Scubby BRZ) they have just the top half that was molded to the inner wheel wells, much like the Aston if recall.
  7. This has got to be tough for them, its a "murican" subject, being made by one of those evil furrin companies, but its in 1/24th scale too
  8. It looks like its going to more top half engine detail only , just enough so you can see something thru the engine cover glass.
  9. They are round, made from a rubber type of rubber, there should be 4 of them included.................
  10. Its interesting David, the factory colors are pretty limited and basic, 8 colors and two are black.

    Very nice work you did.
  12. Lovely.
  13. I know many are going to be heart broken its not a NSU
  14. It was timing, the announcement made via Tamiya USA was at the opening of the Toy Fair in Japan, the show started at 9am Japan time Need to start figuring out what Ford GT color I am going to paint it....................who I am kidding ,its going to be Blue.
  15. I did not see this one coming, but still very cool, and makes me happy I didnt get the toy version that Revell did, so it will be nice to have the street version to go with the race version.
  16. Clear coat, its not the best ive done, in fact, its pretty bad, even wetsanding didnt help it much, but thats ok, its a race car And start of the decal process, I really dislike doing large decals over complex curves
  17. Learning about the NSU 1000 TT was my new thing I learned for today. Id build it..............box stock butter course
  18. I will be less surprised if its what James mention on the first page and its just the 370 Heritage Z kit , but the way Tamiya USA worded the posting, it sure does sound like a new tooling.
  19. I know I have a handful(maybe more) of kits that I am just never going to build, I would have to go and do a looks see to remember what they are. I can say for a subject, I have a good amount of rally race cars that I know I am not going to build.
