From Ace Decals, is Joey's 2017/2018 Shell/Pennzoil decals, just released about a week ago , I am still not 100% what yellow I am going to use, but I am leaning towards Pennzoil Yellow as I think that is what the teams is using, I did reach out to Penske racing to verify but they never responded back. So what I have done so fa?r, let's take a look , all chassis bits have already been paint with Chassis Grey from Promax SEM paint. Some of the missing roll bars, the upside down V are ones that are missing that I added I added the second vertical bar to the halo bar The Ford FR9, painted using a few different Metalizer paints and Primer black from Mr Color, and I added the plug wires. The Ford decals on the valve covers are from Powerslide decals The seat, the leg braces have been added, and then the entire seat was painted once again using Mr Surfacer Black, and the the exterior was painted in graphite type of color. And the chassis, the molded in fuel was removed and I a new set made of round stock was added and move to a more accurate spot that Penske Racing runs them at( I believe)

Right, but owning the molds and actually producing the kits are two different things. But here is the other side to that , I was coming back to edit my post, the licensing deal under Hobbico was for three years and it expires I believe in Oct of this year, so maybe they are keeping it to finish out licensing agreement.

NASCAR being on the list gives me hope that the new kits are not dead moving forward.

That looks like a copy of the Tamiya RB26 kit engine, I hope you didnt pay that much for it. Just for reference, Hobby Design has a really nice RB26 kit, but I dont think that one is no longer available, but you might able to find one, Eighty One has a nice one as well http://www.eightyone81.com/ek011-nissan-rb26-engine-kit/

Matt Kenseth's All Star ride, Stoney Decals, paint TS Semi Gloss Black over Mr Surfacer Black followed by a coat of semi gloss clear and then flat clear. And all my standard and patented refinements and adjustments. Had a little whoops moment on the "R"on the Roush for the side. I know the spoiler isnt right for the ASR package.

I completely agree with you Rob, I liked being able to to scroll down thru the open orders and see what months the kits were "scheduled" to be release. I do like the addition of the wish list, that will come in handy , I use as sort of like bookmarks for items that I am interested in getting at a later date.

Ive lost count as to all the open orders I have, but what is funny is now that HLJ is using their new site, they are sending out "Open Order" reminder emails, not sure what they want us to do, its not like we can get the kits released any faster . I have feeling as this happens it seems like every year, a majority of the new kits that get announced during Q1/Q3 get pushed back and then released all within days of each other, causing our wallets to crash
