  1. I deleted my main PB account( and I think my other ones as well) , I am not going back right now, I am going to wait and see what they are up too before I decide if I want to do anything. But I dont see myself giving any cares about PB moving forward.
  2. I would too, we dont have enough vans , the building options opens so many doors.
  3. I am all for mundane grocery getters from the 80's and up , late model stuff, yep, all of it, I would build a Veloster and do it with a smile.
  4. Pretty much where I am at, and I know I am not the only one, we dont really need Revell( US Revell) or Round 2 or Moebius for model kits, they dont care about us, so speaking for myself, I return that favor for the most part( not counting the new NASCAR kits) , but you hit the nail on the head Chuck.
  5. Not very close to being factual Steve, the hobby does not revolve around the USA, the hobby will not die if there is no "American" companies producing kits. If you really think all those Japanese companies are gonna close up shop because we are not producing kits, then I got some primo land I would like to sell you
  6. They are going to be doing the Ford GT kit later this year, and even if they don't want to do new Ford kits moving forward, they still need to have Ford licensing to sell any of the current tooled up Ford kits they have. You are correct Blitz is not assuming the current licensing agreements that was in place between Hobbico and Ford/GM, this was made clear a few months back that all new agreements would have to be done with Blitz and Ford/GM
  7. I hope they are not hiding underneath the bed or in the closet
  8. Bad news for you , Hobby Lobby wont be selling them is my understanding and it has to do with Monster Energy , I guess they are against energy drinks. If they were going to sell them, they would of by now. They sold the snappers becasue that was when Sprint was still the title sponsor.
  9. So, its more than just one link, its going to be about 12 maybe, but here is the part 1, you can skip part 2, parts 3/4 have cover the missing the roll bars, part 5/6 is me just painting parts so nothing of important in those two parts. Parts 7/8 cover the lowering the ride height and I think some other bits. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4jmsLqnnJ8vUP1ZaHP32ig/videos
  10. The SS was sold between 2013 and 2017, and the SS body style was used from 2013-2017, the Impala and SS are different cars , the Impala nameplate was used in NASCAR starting in 2007 - the end of 2012. I didnt answer your other question, this is a good place to get some current decals, the selection is limited right now. Type in the search bar either Fusion or SS and that will bring up everything . https://www.mikesdecals.com/
  11. The snap kits are not accurate as far as the chassis, its the old chassis , the body for the most part is very accurate. The glue is kit is darn near close to being accurate as we are going to get, its has the correct COT/Gen6 style chassis. There are some small issues and some missing roll bars, but those are easy fixes. The ride height needs to be adjusted and the wheels stick out just a tad, but all things that can be fixed. They also both are missing the splitter, but again, a easy fix. The Fusion kit can be used from 2016-2018, the Chevy SS kit can be used from 2013-2017, there were very small things changed and all those can be done via decals. The spoilers in both kits are for the plate tracks, but the rest of the plate package was not done. The snap kit Fusion can be used from 2013-2015. I am not trying to self promote here, but I am currently doing series of videos on Youtube that go overs things on the new glue kits and correcting some of the issues, if you want I will post the link for you.
  12. As long as there are model kits to be built, the hobby will be alive, the hobby will die when the very last model kit has been built, or there is not one human around to build the model kits, fact. The business side of the hobby, sure, that can die off, but its not dying off right now. I think almost every serious model builder has enough model kits in their stash to last a few human being life times, so there is that. Fact, the sky is not falling in the hobby world, its changing, evolving, starting a new chapter for the new era.
  13. I am going with this is lame attempt to drum up some sales, nothing more, nothing less, I am not going to lose sleep over it.
  14. How is it so all these great kits are coming when the hobby is dying? Geebus, my wallet is crying.
  15. It is dying for the ones that its leaving behind because they refuse to take part in it for their various reasons. The future is not demanding subjects that are at this point between 50/80 years , at least for the part of hobby that is flourishing right now and bringing so much neat stuff to the market.
  16. PS4 here, currently playing both NASCAR Heat 2 and Gran Turismo Sport.
