  1. I used "real" tint film on an AMT Chevy dually promo and it worked very well since the truck's windows are fairly flat. I didn't do the windshield.
  2. snoring and farting
  3. I have the Easy Click 1/16 356, and it is a nice kit. I expect the same from any of the others in any scale.
  4. armadillo eating some
  5. I had this happen once as well and I find it irritating that someone would bid on something and not have the funds in place to pay for it when the purchase was made. I wound up blocking that buyer from ever bidding on any of my items again.
  6. I also have a Flintstone Ventura II body. It is very nice, smooth casting. I wish the grill inserts were separate, but that is too much to hope for since the original AMT kit had them molded in to the nose as well.
  7. Most of the grocery stores and Target around here carry the French, Italian, and the Maj. Dickason for ~$7/lb. I have never seen the Peru. See what you miss when you move away from Sacramento? ?
  8. Weird question, but what about getting a compressor with a tank? Plug it in outside, let it run until it stops, then bring it inside and spray?
  9. Order your neighbor some coffee for Christmas! Which flavor(s) do you drink?
  10. Yes/no. Boss 351s had the chromed bumper
  11. I had an unbuilt '70 GP in my stash for about 30 years, and I re-homed it on eBay not long ago. I built the '72 as a new kit as a kid. I love the lines of the car. My mom's half nephew (?) inexplicably bought a new one every year from 70-72 and they were all light blue with a white interior and vinyl top. Why buy a new car every year when your neighbors won't recognize it from your old one? I brought that 70 out at least every six months for the last 5-6 years and tried to figure out how I could build it with a better chassis, more realistic engine, air conditioning, etc. I gave up every time. If Round2 did a Grand Prix, i would like to see something like the 63 Nova Craftsman Plus. Get an engine plate from the promo, the chassis with the separate exhaust and rear end like the kit, and some newly tooled Rally II wheels. I would be all over that. Same thing for the MPC GTOs.
  12. Da interwebs sez that 8-lugs came out part way through the 1960 model year, so that is an option if you want stock.
  13. None visible clothed
  14. Didn't know that about AMT. Wonder if they made that "chrome" and black camera-case dash in my '68 Mustang? It was a San Jose build, so they may have another supplier closer to the plant.
  15. Makes you wonder if it was one of the myriad of companies that molded 1:1 plastic parts for GM at the time. Isn't that how IMC got their start in models? Dash bezels to model kits?
  16. Around here at least, I think they have more issues with people randomly spraying the paint on their shelves and such. The HLs here do the same thing which is why I won't buy any of their crummy assortment of Testors paint. Very little of it interests me anyway, and the local Michaels stores only carry the enamels that we have all used a hundred times when we were kids.
