  1. Thanks Bob. I went and found the paint bottle. The color is Lake Blue.
  2. Finished this one a while back. I can't remember the color, but the paint is from US Art Supply. Duplicolor 1K Clear. Box stock.
  3. Great concept and execution. Really sharp.
  4. I love that. Tell us about the paint, please.
  5. Man that's cool! Looks fast sitting still.
  6. That is a beautiful rendition of the classic 57 Chevy. I probably have 10 more more 57 Chevy kits new in the box, but have never built one. The chrome scares me off. I'll build one some day. I'm bookmarking your build for inspiration.
  7. That's cool. I can see that pulling into a weekend show and shine. Love it.
  8. Love them. I have both kits. Hadn't thought about building them to compliment each other. Great idea.
  9. This is the Coke version of the kit. Snagged it on clearance at Walmart. Paint is Wine Pearl from US Art Supply. Rust-oleum Crystal Clear top coat. Parts box wheels and tires. The bed cover is made from an old DVD case. The color really isn't what I was expecting when I started, but I love how it turned out. After taking the photo of the engine bay, I realized that I had forgotten to install the little corner pieces that finish off the firewall and fender wells. I'll go back and add those as they are already painted. Thanks for giving it a look.
  10. So this color is totally not what I was going for, but I love it. The paint is Wine Pearl from US Art Supply over red oxide primer. Found some parts box wheels and tires. I'm liking it.

    AMT Model T

This is the AMT Vintage Police Car kit. I built it as a daily runabout. Fun kit.
  13. Very nice all the way around. I love the weathering and rust.
  14. I can relate. I used a hairdryer to heat it and gently straighten it. I worked on it slowly and had it pretty good and straight. By the time I got ready to mount it, it had re-warped itself a bit. I ended up gluing it to the truck and put some weight on top to hold it. Still didn't end up perfect.
