  1. Doors open at 9AM, I have three tables of sale items. MCW Paint to be present at show. Come join the contest!
  2. Well after reading it, I bought some myself. And no, I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Too many things to build!!!
  3. The guy I listed has both rod and tubing. Actually other shapes if I remember correctly.
  4. kdarr70, Model Parts andSupply This is the guy from ebay, lots of packages available
  5. Make sure and pick a kit with those little paint tubs included!!
  6. Looks like it wrinkled in places where the paint or clear may have 'pooled'. How long did you wait between color and clear?
  7. Not trying to be argumentative, just not understanding the true basis of this build. If this is to be a 'Just what's in the box build', then as soon as the allowance of styrene stock and detail parts were added, the idea is then derailed before it gets started. Am I missing something? Though I agree about picking your own kit, everyone building the same would be interesting also.
  8. For the builds I'm doing, the tank is plain, with very little for brackets on the bottom, and long tight coiled springs as straps, as it is on the 1:1
  9. Here's a pair of basic tanks without strapping or fill ports yet. This matches what I need for some commissioned work.
  10. Funny, just started turning some for myself Sunday. Trying on a manual lathe, not a CNC. Post pics when I get one to where I'm happy with it.
  11. Maybe they held the idea over until 1970, the rear roofline and overall size is reminiscent of the Monte Carlo. Looks great, makes me want to build one!
  12. Also, Model Master 'Big Bad Blue'
  13. There's two issues of it that I'm aware of, this one and a 50th anniversary edition. Haven't opened it yet, but there seems to be a lot of parts, the box is pretty heavy!
  14. Also got some neat stuff from Vince and others at Sharon PA show Saturday. From a Comp. Resin Pro Stock Pinto, to a Monza F/C,and a Multi Maverick. A vintage style F1 Indy Winner, some tooling, and Sprint cars for a friend. Best of all, sold more than I bought! Such self control!?
  15. I like the start of that!!
  16. Those are awesome! Beautiful work!
  17. I remember someone using a manual machine to cut aluminum strips for leaf springs and maybe another that programmed one to make leaf spring sections complete with radius ends. I actually bought a Cricut after Black Friday on sale, haven't tried it yet.
  18. That's what I'm wondering.
  19. I have a 59/60 Studebaker Lark resin body that I am going to straighten. Would it be better to leave window flashing in or remove it first? Thanks
  20. OOOh, I like. Will keep my eye out for that one!
  21. Question...I voted before the poll was reorganized, with one vote, and it accepted it no problem. I thought once you voted, the poll recognized you and would not let you vote again. When I go to the poll now, it will allow me to vote or preview the results. Did my first vote count?
  22. I voted for one and had no issue Are you guys signed in?
