  1. Ron at RMR is a great guy, that is his new website which has only been up for a short time. By all means message him, out of stock may be a default when stock isn't on hand ,buy he can surely make one up.
  2. At least the last two ..should... be a bit quicker, since most of the kinks will be worked out and parts will be prefabbed. Also discovered the interior tub supplied is not for the Stude, will have to move door lines at minimum. And thanks for looking!
  3. It's been slow progress, figuring and fabbing interior and relocating firewall
  4. His items are still on Ebay, he's based in Clifton Springs, New York
  5. That's my second Revell version, but the Gulf paint is my fave.
  6. Just won this on a local auction site late yesterday for $5.25
  7. Thanks all!!
  8. Different box art? One on left, no one shows box art.
  9. Anyone know the difference between these two kits?
  10. Saw this a cpl weeks ago near our town diner
  11. I built a paint booth like that using MDF and even purchased the gloves with retaining rings. The gloves are to stiff and bulky, I cut them back several times to make 'finger' gloves, then all the way back to the wrist. It then sucked in shreds from the glove liner and created a heavier vacuum around my arm bringing in anything on me(lint) and close to the cabinet. Make sure to groud the metal cabinet to help not generate static. Will need to add a filter bed. Keep in mind screen surface when setting painted parts as it will be an unstable surface. Hope this helps.
  12. Success! Functional tie rod.
  13. Fiddled with chassis some more, cut two of the three bodies for now. Save the last one for later in case a reference is needed.
  14. Progress!
  15. We believe the gentleman was going to cast the parts that are missing. Most of the promos are missing the same parts.
  16. Lowered a tic and centered the wheel
  17. Got this from our club president, came from a local man's LARGE collection. Just need to replace missing chrome and wheels.
  18. I will paint front suspension then add the u bolts. It turned out a shade higher than I wanted, may try to lower front a bit. Thanks again to the builders on here who challenge my abilities, doing alot that I normally wouldn't tackle. Also, lowering this bench and the new chair make building much more enjoyable! Thanks for looking!
  19. Update on front end. I worked the springs to where I like them, finished straight axel, and brackets.
  20. From the phone it shows minimal info, says nothing about close out. I understood that the son was carrying on the tire portion of the business.
  21. When I did a 57 Chevy conversion, I used some hobby chisels as scrapers for most of it, then of course finish with sanding. The chisels are from Micro Mark.
  22. They all do look very nice, but the webpage doesn't list any sizes per tire and contact link doesn't work. Unless it's something to do with my phone. I will check again when I get home.
  23. Actually, I just counted the number of pieces... there's 720 bolts and 720 nuts per side for $5.95. So that's 1440 pcs.
  24. Well now you tell me!LOL I will definitely check that out. Thanks!
  25. My trip to HL and another hobby shop
