Resin for Revell '41 Chevy pickup?
64SS350 replied to realgone58's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Ron at RMR is a great guy, that is his new website which has only been up for a short time. By all means message him, out of stock may be a default when stock isn't on hand ,buy he can surely make one up. -
At least the last two ..should... be a bit quicker, since most of the kinks will be worked out and parts will be prefabbed. Also discovered the interior tub supplied is not for the Stude, will have to move door lines at minimum. And thanks for looking!

Would this work for a paint booth?
64SS350 replied to r60man's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I built a paint booth like that using MDF and even purchased the gloves with retaining rings. The gloves are to stiff and bulky, I cut them back several times to make 'finger' gloves, then all the way back to the wrist. It then sucked in shreds from the glove liner and created a heavier vacuum around my arm bringing in anything on me(lint) and close to the cabinet. Make sure to groud the metal cabinet to help not generate static. Will need to add a filter bed. Keep in mind screen surface when setting painted parts as it will be an unstable surface. Hope this helps. -

Fiddled with chassis some more, cut two of the three bodies for now. Save the last one for later in case a reference is needed.

We believe the gentleman was going to cast the parts that are missing. Most of the promos are missing the same parts.

I will paint front suspension then add the u bolts. It turned out a shade higher than I wanted, may try to lower front a bit. Thanks again to the builders on here who challenge my abilities, doing alot that I normally wouldn't tackle. Also, lowering this bench and the new chair make building much more enjoyable! Thanks for looking!

Update on front end. I worked the springs to where I like them, finished straight axel, and brackets.

From the phone it shows minimal info, says nothing about close out. I understood that the son was carrying on the tire portion of the business.

1969 Chevelle molding removal AMT

When I did a 57 Chevy conversion, I used some hobby chisels as scrapers for most of it, then of course finish with sanding. The chisels are from Micro Mark. -
They all do look very nice, but the webpage doesn't list any sizes per tire and contact link doesn't work. Unless it's something to do with my phone. I will check again when I get home.

Actually, I just counted the number of pieces... there's 720 bolts and 720 nuts per side for $5.95. So that's 1440 pcs.
