  1. I tried once and the email come.back as failed, I think somehow he's not getting all of them
  2. Sorry for the delay in finishing this, I became very busy lately. The hood is finished and in primer, just need to shoot a pic and post here. Thanks for the patience.
  3. Modelhaus has what you are looking for.
  4. Wilde Racing Products...all kinds of slot car products. Check this site for a list of products, which is Eagle Distributors, but you must be a business to order from them. I purchase mine from my local slot car raceway (Marks Model World), or you can find another company to buy from, also ebay sellers have some available, I just hate paying shipping if I don't have to. https://www.eagledist.com/ Click on 'search all vendors', then drop down to Wilde Racing Prod., and hit search bar.
  5. Thanks guys. I dropped it off yesterday to the guy I was building it for, which in turn is for his brother who is 77 years of age. They all seemed quite happy with the representation compared to the original 1:1.
  6. Yes, the WRP brand scoops are strene.
  7. The two choices of adhesives are primarily Ambroid Pro Weld (or similar liquid type), and CA glue
  8. I have someone looking for this to replicate his car, has it ever been produced in styrene or resin?
  9. Here's an update, final fit and hole cut in hood hood is now in primer and being tweeked for next update
  10. Well I'm calling it done, thanks to Chief Joseph for the rear quarter decals!
  11. I was asked to do a tutorial on installing this brand of hood scoops to existing model hoods. I like using these better than using resin hoods, for various reasons, mainly the amount of work you usually have to put into a resin hood, I feel these scoops are less work. They can be adjusted to different heights, lengths, angles, and are open to lots of customization , and also cheaper, $3.99 for 2pcs. Here's where I started from for this build, a '65 Impala. Initial marking to set equal height Rough cut Sanding block to achieve levelness After sanding and cutting rear angle and length
  12. Besides, where's the challenge in that?!
  13. Body polished ready for foil..
  14. Body is now two toned, will post pics once I get it cleaned up.
  15. I would take a look at the Clearly Scale website..nice stuff.
  16. I get mine from my local slot car track. The PU is plain, the Impala I modified with a file and sanding to achieve the inset line. They come packaged in pairs, you can cut them down to different heights and lengths to fit your hood. I use either Bondo putty, glazing, and the green modeling filler. If you need more ideas to do these, maybe I could do a thread on installing one. Hope this helps...Karl
  17. That is a very gorgeous car, need to get one of those.
  18. I make my own by simply adding a WRP brand cowl to my existing hood. They usually run like $5 for a pair.
  19. Got a trade from BIGTRUCK last week sometime, will trade anytime, quick and honest
  20. New machined distributor in place
  21. Finally got some paint on the body a few weeks ago, sitting home getting over the flu now, think I'll try to get something done today.
  22. I like this guys stuff http://www.ebay.com/itm/1955-1957-CHEVROLET-STEPSIDE-AND-CAMEO-PICKUP-GAUGE-FACES-1-25-scale-for-AMT-/191773267328
  23. I have been tweeking the hood and body, interior with firewall wouldn't fit because I made plug wire boots to long. While trying to fix, trashed the kit distributor. SO, made some new ones...
