Body polished ready for foil..

Body is now two toned, will post pics once I get it cleaned up.

I would take a look at the Clearly Scale website..nice stuff.

I get mine from my local slot car track. The PU is plain, the Impala I modified with a file and sanding to achieve the inset line. They come packaged in pairs,you can cut them down to different heights and lengths to fit your hood. I use either Bondo putty, glazing, and the green modeling filler. If you need more ideas to do these, maybe I could do a thread on installing one. Hope this helps...Karl

That is a very gorgeous car, need to get one of those.

I make my own by simply adding a WRP brand cowl to my existing hood. They usually run like $5 for a pair.

Finally got some paint on the body a few weeks ago, sitting home getting over the flu now, think I'll try to get something done today.

I have been tweeking the hood and body, interior with firewall wouldn't fit because I made plug wire boots to long. While trying to fix, trashed the kit distributor. SO, made some new ones...

I actually flipped the chrome 'gun sights' upside down, then filled in with putty. Then, found the' fill ins' are provided in a '57 monogram kit I have for parts. Go figure! I want to do a little more refining and cleanup on the underside of the hod also.

Started this build a couple months ago for someone else to give as a gift. Converting the Black Widow kit to build the pictured drag car. Will try to add pics from PB later, one time it works, next it doesn't.

Depending on what is going on and how it has effected a person, they may not even care about a plastic model kit, let alone more important life matters. I'm sure it will work out.
