  1. Looks very cool as usual, makes a good Cannonballer, because if I seen that coming, I'd certainly get out of the way!
  2. My Cutlass will be on hold for awhile, have to find a house and get moved this summer. I'll still be here, just no time to build right now.
  3. I can't speak for HOK paints, but I use the enamels from my local auto paint supplier. I used the Donn Yost method of 2:1 with medium or cooler lacquer thinner, works great!
  4. Have a pic or brand name to reference from?
  5. I learned from Donn Yost and his awesome vidoes that a Passche single action gun works great. Easy to clean up, no more needle and seat clogs! I started using automotive enamels last year, the money savings alone would convince you to use the airbrush more, but I use a variety of paints, also cans for covenience sometimes.
  6. A can of spray I have (one of the Testors line) is called interior gray, it actually dries with a textured look
  7. Tried my old computer, PB would'nt let me copy from thumbnails, but from pic after selecting it. Have to call some tech on my 'new' computer!
  8. Do you mean a file name that I add? Whatever the computer saves it as is how I upload to PB.
  9. Well guys, I tried everything we just stated and nothing works, I have IE 11, updated PB info, and the compatibility setting.
  10. I have the same problem, I'll try your suggestion Jeff
  11. Progress on the Cutlass interior, converted auto console to 4speed and door panels need window cranks yet. Can only do thumbnails right now, not wanting to upload properly from Photobucket.
  12. Not sure of what part you're trying to do but you could maybe use semigloss clear over the area, or I recently purchased some black BMF to try
  13. If this is for lexan, be prepared, the paint comes out heavy, it will come out flat, and I'm not sure I would do primer, it's made for direct contact.
  14. Here's my current 'In Primer'..............four of these are for a kids ministry I will be starting with five more to come. They are actually for the AMT slot car kits. The others are current projects!
  15. I like this type
  16. Got this yesterday..Modelhaus '64 Comet
  17. Just below you in East Canton..BRRRRR
  18. Some work on the motor so far, decided to cut the interior for lack of detail, made some arm rests tonight.
  19. My 70 Cutlass dash
  20. Well this is going to be a rough year, try to get done what I can. Working on chassis, interior, and body work of the Cutlass.
  21. Honestly I am not impressed. Ordered two sets, a Yenko set and a Rat Vega set. The Yenko set had lines in that looked like knife lines, he said they were from an Alps printer that only printed in 1/2 in. strips, hence the lines, and they tore easily. Ended up trashing them. The Rat Vega set I haven't used yet, but when he cleared them, there is dust under the clear. Judge for yourself.
  22. Had a busy and bad week, this is it for about a week or so.. Always have several going at once, currently '70 Olds Cutlass Ralley 350
  23. I'm not sure what method you used, I used a Corian block and masked the body down, as Mark said above, over straighten the area, and a hair dryer on high. It took a couple times, as he also said, trial and hopefully no error
