  1. What's a purist? Those wheels are sweet! I must get a set... Or, like, twelve
  2. Whoa! I thought I read twin Hemi And that fuel-tank is madness!
  3. It looks great with those whitewalls
  4. The forum is fine, perfectly organized and clear for anyone who will pay attention and read an occasional rule or guideline. I enjoy it very much, thank you, and having moderated several forums in the past I know how difficult it can be... So, kudos.
  5. 70 euros is indeed a good price for a full resin kit, especially one as rare as this one. The Ebbro kit is based off the Tamiya 2CV, only with a retooled fourgonnette back... I don't actually have it, but it looks fantastic.
  6. Wow! It would be really nice to have this along with the new 2CV Fourgonnette from Tamiya/Ebbro... How much did it cost, if you don't mind me asking? Thanks, MATIJA
  7. AMT's 1941 Plymouth I forgot to specify... I'm looking for exterior door handles.
  8. Are any available in resin, for 1/24 and 1/25 scale models? Otherwise, are there any kits which have nice, separately molded 1940's style door handles? Any info would be much appreciated.
  9. Very nice build of a legendary car
  10. I like what you have going on under the hood
  11. One of the rare modern cars available in kit form that I really like and have in my stash... Great to see it being built
  12. Whoa! The precision! I have the same kit, and have been struggling with the dashboard detail. Very nice progress so far, I will keep my eye on this
  13. ScaleProduction had theirs on offer again until a few days ago... I just checked now and it seems to be sold out again... Keep in mind, this resin trans-kit is reissued every once in a while so it's worth to keep an eye out. I'm sure a new batch will be available in due time
  14. I prefer using Gunze-Sangyo (Mr. Hobby) acrylic spray-cans (the whole range - gloss, semi-gloss and flat clearcoats).
  15. Your build definitely convinced me to buy this kit. Very nice
  16. Nice work so far. What color is that? As far as clearing goes, you should only clear parts you painted that you want to shine... So, no interior etc... You do not need to clear the chrome bits. Really, most people only clear the body, sometimes the engine... You could put a flat clearcoat on non-shiny parts, but I do not find that necessary if you used flat paint to begin with.
  17. I have this one on the workbench also... Similar style, too. The stance on yours is perfect and I really like the wheels as well. Are they 19's in the front and 23's in the back?
  18. The 8-ball shifter is a fantastic detail
  19. The film "Vanishing Point" is one great big car chase - cops after a white 70 Dodge Challenger... John Frankenheimer's film "Ronin" also has a few legendary car chase scenes filmed in France... And then there's this... Not strictly a car chase, nor a feature film for that matter, but an amazingly daring piece of cinema verite by Claude Lelouch... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Fu1Bw8dvBM
  20. Yes, my name is the Croatian version of Matthew Thanks for the pics... Lots of useful references there.
  21. Ed, that does look quite spectacular indeed, and it's not important what the trailer is... Thanks David, do you have any pics of your project?
  22. A few pics would indeed be great, thanks Ed
  23. That's great, Greg, thanks, but I was hoping for reference pics of real cars Bill, there seems to be something wrong with your link... (edit: never mind, I see it now - thanks)
  24. Great theme. I like it very much
  25. Looking forward to this one... I also very much like your photo layouts
