The old Revell-kit? I had it long times before... The stance looks good so far and it must be on this old BMW. I wished, you could make brighter pictures to have a better look on your work. only the headlights i have to critism, because they do not fix properly.
  4. Very rare kit you are building. Your progress is looking very good so far. Keep up the work
  5. nice color! good luck with it and keep on posting
  6. Now i see, that you built a 2-door, didn't seen it on the box. Wow - thats great! Well done! I like the colors with the golden trim. They play good together, the colors. Very Nice!
  7. Thanks Eddy for comment. The dash. - First i painted the dash with a dark brown. - Then i took a cutter and made the cracks in a form like a " \/ ". - Next step was to paint the cracks with highly diluted paint of black and - at last i carefully whiped the dash with thinner on a cotton swabs (Q-tip?). The positions of the cracks i choosed from Porsche 924 or VW Beetle 1303 for example - they had much cracks when they getting older - and a little inspiration of my buicks dashboard. Hope you could follow the steps?
  8. Thank you Joe. I meaned, such built i was working on... . There i made about 180 details of stuff, to give this camper a real look in and outside. In a rest of this built to take new energy, i made my DragCamino.
  9. Yes, thats thru! I also built this Impala and it looks great in the shelf or on a display. I love these 70's cars - they are so big! But my built is in comparison to yours a very small light. Not so much "blingbling" only with the paintjob! Yours looking great Virgil!
  10. ... at last some closeups: Thanks for patience, its your turn. Comments alway welcome
  11. ... the interior before i put it together: And a look inside when its complete: ...
  12. Hallo everybody, today i want to show you a two-week-built from February this year. In times, when i built too much details, i need a simple kit to relax. Based on the amt kit (#6062) with the camper inside, i tested on this car, how to weather decals and to brush street dust on it. Take a look: ...
  13. Hi Roger, why i only could see one picture of your fabulous Edsel? For my own, it looks very good - right trim or not. Who cares? the overall look is perfect!
  14. Oh man - such a old post, but i must make a statement. I like all this details you've done in this built! just amaizing work.
  15. Like this "small" pick ups. Don't you have some mirrors, to complete it? without it looks so naked
  16. Thanks everybody for your little trip in history about "clean" interiors I took these fog lights out of my spareparts boxes. They were from a Fujimi Porsche 911 kit (the cool 80's-911) oha....i knew, that i forgott something
  17. Hey Nick, thats a cool build! Its always interesting, to build the first ever built model with technics from today. My first us-kit was the 58 impala too - and it has always a special place in my collection. Never sold or destroyed. work on, i'll be watching your steps
  18. Wow! Awesome paintjob!!
  19. Thats a real cool Merc john. I will watch your work, thats amazing!
  20. Hi Mark, i love the 58 Chevy most of all this time. THIS one, you've built beautiful! I like it. That fantastic model says to me, to build the same one with my Delray body. it looks realy great, gives me much inspiration.
  21. oh cool paintjob!
  22. Hi Mark, the work on the side trim is amazing! That looks absolute perfect to me! How many pictures do you have for your build up? Keep the work going
  23. John,...John,...what could i say? Amazing work, just amazing. I am speechless!
  24. Hi Don, nice work to this point, but not my thing. The first picture is a very bad example and i'm sure, that this kind of shining of a interior only make kids. i dont know, if the work on interior with suede (or anything else) gives a real effect. All suede you choose is too fat/thick or call it what ever. expect the thickness of the material you choose on the size of the originals and you will see, that it doesn't work. On scale like 1/12 or bigger it could work. Also the speaker looks now unreal. Why? The panels are also to thick. If i should cut out such a good detailed speaker like this, i would reduce the thickness of the panel too. If i choose the original, i put bmf on the original speaker and imagine the recesses in black. That will give me a more realistic look. Roul said it correct: "...nobody looks in there unless it is pointed out. If it is a convertible then it gets noticed. The paintjob stands out first and then the engine. " Thats the fact. The interiors, that Mike shows for example are well done. Good paintjob with (almost) flat colors and detailing the air nozzles, belts, radio and/or dash and at last a flocking of the carpet are enough for a real look. I will not make your work bad! I doubt, that make such a consuming interior nobody sees. It is only my opinion - has nothing to do with your detailwork. Work on, Don! I watch your work - perhaps to get inspirations
  25. Hey Tom! The first picture makes me hungry for more! Work on
