Now, take a look inside: ... -
Wow! cant find the words for this absolutely fabulous Challenger. Wish, i had such a cool looking build model like yours!
-
Hey, i am first Hi Niko, you build a very beautiful Bel Air! Well done! Perfect detailed engine, BMF-work and interieur. Paintwork is also not bad, but in the last picture it seems, that you had silicone on the primer? Nice car, really nice!

cool work and much eyecatcher you've build. Looks very cool! -
very nice colour - like it! Whats about the sidemarker? won't you give them a piont of colour? Only the stand of the rear wheels is unreal - not my taste but it is your model
-
Awesome! looking H-O-T!
-
Pretty "two-day-build"! Looks good. If you make the trim silver like Danno sayed, it would look more better
-
I love this accords! Specially the Racer because my brother had them built far years ago. Looks like a racer in private hands. Clean built. The colour you've choosed works good with the white rims but not soo good with the "JACCS"-Decals. Have you made a clear coat on it for finish?
-
Yes Walt - amazing Dart you've build! Awesome and i can smell the rubber "eat my dust"!
-
That Belair is beautiful! Like the colour and lowriderstyle! And - of course - the paintjob on the roof. Well done!
-
So far, so good. the paintjob, similar with the 66 Merc: the engineparts ready painted: some small parts to decorate the wedge: and at last with the body work done. there i tryed to make decals the first time: Thats it. That was, what i want to show you. perhaps, this posts where better in "on the workbanch"? But this progress was one year ago and is not in time... The last steps was to make a front bumper and exhaust system. Thanks for patience,
-
On the net picture you can see an overview. all modeled in orange is the snap kit, in grey is from the cadillac and the white parts is scratchbuild (without the wedge!) Next step. Made some detailwork like the doors, interieur and the first primer: ...the parts for my ashtray ...and the interieur ready: ...
-
so here we go! The next step - it will give a picture: Here i had build the rearaxles from the wedge. I took a part of a frame from a Ford F100 and axles out of may parts box from leftover kitparts: Now my favorite fitting. Install the engine and front frame from the cadillac. Here you can see the grey frame i took from it and how i fit into the snap kit... ...and how it fit, when i mounted the body: This was "easy" work! Thats it, what make a lot of fun, if all will fit together.
-
Thank you very much for kind words! Brad, sure you can make that. This is, what a forum living for: to give and take impressions Today i want to show you some pictures from the progress. I will start with the Racerswedge. I think, this kit from amt / Model king... ...knows everybody. For the cabin and "backwards"frame, i took this Snapkit: For the engine and the front frame i took a '59 Cadillac Eldorado. the best point of it was, that it all fit together, like it always was so planed! The next idea is to build a "cabover"... ...and here are the outter panels for it: All these parts i glued together...
-
...and more... Well, what can I say? That Body i had to have - and today i found it here in the forum and now i know the manufacture of it. That was the point i thougt its time, to share a part of my "Projekt 2011" with you. Short work periods, perhaps ... Part 1) - Body primed and placed on the heater to dry - completely warped - Check with interior and bottom plate with duct tape around and lashed "into shape" - Set off in the sun - Had luck, pulled back almost 100% straight. Part 2) - Pre-painted, wet sanded, 8-Hour-BMF-Marathon on it, first Coat of clear lacquer - dirt under the clear coat - wet sanding again... - New Clear Coat ... during the first run the paint have not liked themselves over the whole site - Aborted paints ... now he's standing there, and rocked a bit dirty - he must be stripped anyway. Is disassembled and then the whole thing over again. Sh** That's it again, thank you for your attention This is one part of my "Trubinecar-Projekt 2011" - more coming up

Thank you for kind words. Yes Lee, you are right with this: the licenseplate is custom made. I work with ACME-Licensemaker in the web, print it on highgloss photopaper and put in on the kit. There one day i took the time to make a complete paper full of plates to have one for each kit in the shelf and upcoming projekts (like Movie cars for example).....I like selfmade plates more, because they fit to the car if there is a 1:1 car i rebuild or to tell a little bit about them. don't like the decalplates.

Dominik replied to John Teresi's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I am just looking and find no words till yet John. Awesome! -
not bad, Javier, not bad! very clean build and black is always difficult. the only thing i would make is to chance the stance. i little bit lower to the ground and the look would be more angry
-
without spoiler it looks smooth! Cool idea Jim
