  1. Added the grill end details. Still finalizing them, but coming along well. This area of trim will have to be removed: Then the revised grille fits nicely.
  2. I've gotten several PMs, including one from a guy who googled the subject, found it here, and joined the board just so he could follow along. The interest is there, just have to finish it up and get the molds made. It'll happen. An ElBeaumino is the first project on my desk when it's done.
  3. Really brings that car alive!
  4. Wow! I believe a sunset Bronco sheet will have to come my way to be applied to that very Bronco. I always wondered what to do with it, but not any more!
  5. Getting there! I already had the Chevelle taillights blanked out when I received the Beaumont taillights and 1/4 extensions from Steve a few days ago, got the right side dialed in.
  6. The builder of this Falcon with a bit of '59 Pontiac mixed in must have been influenced by these concept pictures.
  7. The back of the Edsel Falcon was pretty neat:
  8. Thanks Tom, but I can't open your images.
  9. Sunday at the Resin Ranch. Got a lot done. Crown Vics rolling down the assembly line, Chevy low rider parts having molds made. A certain Californian will be glad to read that. The Beaumont grilles look very nice. But... What's that thing below the right grille? An air bubble in the mold, not an imperfection in the master. The caster's worst enemy, (aside from humidity) rare but annoying. However, this is an opportunity to make it better. I'm not very happy with the ends of the grille where it interfaces with the fenders, so I'll add some detail to that area to make it a bit more authentic. Always room for improvement.
  10. Here's a restored '77 Connecticut LTD, my kind of police subject (real easy paint scheme).
  11. Superior job, some of the nicest work I've ever seen in 1:18 scale.
  12. We need a Hellcat widebody Redeye. I know, I won't hold my breath.
  13. I'm up to chapter 8. It's just extremely well done in every crafted detail; you don't put out work like this unless you love what you're doing. AAA+++
  14. I bought that car when it first came out, has to be 25 years ago. It was my first serious mail-order diecast, I remember being amazed when I first took it out of the package and started working all of its features. It's still pretty cool.
  15. I think he's going to need more than one can of WD-40!
  16. Phooey. Wouldn't you know that I went with the only picture on the interwebs that had one? Oh well, an easy correction. Did they make any Beaumont El Caminos?
  17. The individual letters are on the back of the '68, the '69 uses another script on the trunk lid, and there are two scripts in the MCG set. There are other small details too like the grille emblems and such, so it's not a bad deal.
  18. That's just the kind of input I needed. PM sent.
  19. Steve, Yes, those taillights and 1/4 extensions look very nice, and would speed things up a good bit. Thanks for the offer, I'm interested. As for the '68 GTO dash, I think that would work well for a '68 Beaumont conversion, let's hold off on that until the new '68 Chevelle kit is released and see how well it fits that kit. Do you happen to have a MPC '69 GTO dash?
  20. Mike, That would be great. If anyone has one and is willing to send it to us, we will cast it and return the original to the owner.
  21. I got the front parts clayed up for the mold, and started filling in the 1/4s to start on the taillights. Yes, it will be offered by Greg Wann, the Master Caster. The front parts will be available first, the taillights and 1/4 extensions later.
