  1. I think I've seen that car running around Ohio. Very nice work!
  2. I've been using the Fokti instructions site a LOT. It's really handy for glue bombs.
  3. I'll have to get a pic and post it. I could list them, but I think the pictures show more.
  4. It looks like a covered wagon. I like it.
  5. I've seen a few on ebay. I think The Doc has been using pieces from 40K and WHFB (Warhammer Fantasy Battle). You can also look on the main website for Games Workshop, they sell the whole kits and used to sell the bits individually for kitbashing. You would probably be better if you can find a shop that sells "bitz" locally. The kits can be pretty expensive, usually $40 or so unless you get a used one.
  6. That's really nifty. I gotta make one of these.
  7. I just got a gluebombed IMC GT40. I could see where people might think it's a finicky kit. The upper body might be tricky. The details is outstanding, though. Especially for that old of a kit.
  8. you might see if someone can loan/rent you a metal detector. That would help you locate your tools faster.
  9. My wife still has her ALF doll from when the show was on. She had it in the hospital with her both times she had open heart surgery, the first time when she was 10, and last year just for good luck.
  10. Really nice work.
  11. This one would be a fun kitbash.
  12. Outstanding paint!
  13. I had the same issue with the PE set. Somehow managed to drop both of the "P"'s for the nose, so I just stopped. Right now my Bonneville just has "ONT" on the nose because I was afraid to drop anything else.
  14. I'll have to hit Meijer. Thanks for the info!
  15. Really Nice! I take it this is a 1/43?
  16. Definitely build more and buy less. I've bought several glue bombs recently that I've had good luck with, but I've got so much to work on I don't know where to start.
  17. Help Desk Technician. I've taken a few computer classes, but I don't have an IT degree. I can strip down and rebuild a computer without thinking about it too much.
  18. Quite nice so far. I like it.
  19. Been there, done that. Why I'm more careful about which brands of super-glue I buy now.
  20. See how much of Jo-Han I could put back together? Maybe give Revellogram a real run for their money.
  21. Looking really good so far. The chassis is shaping up really nice.
  22. Picked up a couple of gluebombs on Ebay. Got a Tom Daniel "Paddy Wagon" and an IMC Ford GT40. Also picked up a battery powered motor tool from another site that uses standard Dremel bits, but doesn't require a speed control to bring it down to styrene levels. I've been using it to clean up ejector pin marks, smooth putty carving, etc.
  23. My grandfather had some interesting ones. My Uncle was the one with the cool ones, though. He had a 1970 Plymouth Superbird. He bought it wrecked, parked it for years and still ended up selling it for a lot. Some of the others were a 1969 Chevy Nova, 1968 Road Runner, 1973 Satellite Sebring, 1970 Chrysler 300, etc... Unfortunately, by the time I was old enough to be interested in getting any of them off of him, they were all piles of rust. I think they've all been hauled off, now.
  24. Almost had one last night. Was bidding on a Union Porsche 917K, had it for $25 with free shipping. Someone sniped me at the last 5 seconds. I'll get one eventually.
