  1. The one I've built had the Alternomad parts. I haven't checked the one in my stash yet.
  2. I like where you're going with this. Personally, I like the 29 grill shell better.
  3. Personally, I'm excited about all 3.
  4. Very nice paint. Excellent work. I agree with the black stripes.
  5. Sweet! Totally envious of you. I hope you can bring her back to life. Good Luck!
  6. Really nice work! Love the color. Looking at the bottom, I don't think there's an engine there. I think it's the curbside kit with doors that have been opened very nicely.
  7. Currently reading "Taking Flight" By Lawrence Watt-Evans, just finished "Soon I Will Be Invincible" by Austin Grossman. Going to be reading "Dragon Venom" By Lawrence Watt-Evans next.
  8. Remind me and I'll post pics of my Red Baron. I used foil to fix the chrome on several spots where it needed sanding. Overall it came out really good.
  9. Revell Corvett Stingray III concept.
  10. Really nice, very shiny!
  11. Don't worry too much. I've posted two models on here so far and didn't get much feedback, but what I got was positive. I figured I'll get more responses as I go. Just keep posting.
  12. I'd sand the lines off and fix it with bare metal foil. If done correctly, you can't tell anything was done to the chrome at all.
  13. Gorgeous build. Top notch paint job.
  14. Airtrax makes some nice looking kits. Would love to have the Dodge Mirada. I can't wait to see what you do with this one.
  15. Depends on the vehicle and the condition it was in when you got it. Case in point: My family has had 2 early 70's Dodge Chargers. The first one we bought new in '73, and it was the family pet almost as much as our st. bernard. It was hit one New Years Eve by a drunk while it was parked on the street. That car I would have restored back to factory if given the chance. Years later, my brother bought a '71 Charger. It was ragged out and worn, one of the motor mounts was missing when he bought it, ###### interior from another car. It eventually gave up the ghost and the block cracked. That one I would have modded.
  16. Looks like a fast land vehicle from really early in Star Wars. I like it.
  17. Doh! Sorry to ask a redundant question. Thanks!
  18. There's a few in this series: "Der Guber Wagen" which is the one you've got "T-Bone Stake" was a stake bed type pickup "Meter Cheater" was a cab with luggage "Moon Mixer" was a little cement mixer with an Apollo theme "Patent Pending" was a C-cab van street rod. All of them have Corvair engines in the rear.
  19. Very nice job!
  20. After looking at the instructions online, I may have to get one of these to open up.
  21. Is there any information on when the 62 corvette is going to be released?
  22. I think I've read that the topics that are locked are locked by the forum admins. Typically because someone made an offensive comment, or the whole subject was dodgy in the first place.
