  1. I've been curious about these kits. I like what you're doing.
  2. Really sharp! You got a good aggressive stance on it. Nice work!
  3. Outstanding work.
  4. I'm definitely interested in one of these. Is there a price?
  5. Love the color! Fantastic job.
  6. That's one of the things that has really interested me about 3D printing is the capability of making my own kits. Hopefully one of these days I can scrape up the cash to put one of these 3D printers together. I can do the 3D modelling without a problem. It would be nice to be able to do some of the stuff that hasn't been done since Jo-Han went out. Old Dodges, AMC's, even earlier stuff... The possibilities are endless.
  7. I wish I could have gone to this auto show. There's gorgeous cars all over Columbus, so it's almost the same...
  8. I would even venture to guess that the car companies might be sharing 3D models of the cars with Tamiya, which would make scaling a lot easier. They could almost literally break the car down into assemblies and put it on sprues and just dump it into a CAM unit to make the dies.
  9. We just had some wild storms here last night. Big chunks of Columbus and several other states are without power.
  10. Yes. Any subject. I used to do model airplanes and ships way back when. Did a lot of cars when I was younger. Did sci-fi kits. I've been doing garage resin kits of anime characters for a while now and still do. Did anime robots for a long time. Even have a collection of Warhammer 40K miniatures. You name it, I've probably painted it.
  11. Wow! That's mean looking. Love it!
  12. Very nice work. You've got some outstanding details on there. Love the detail on the lines.
  13. Both look really nice. I really like the street rod.
  14. Incredible work. I wish I was half that talented. Can't wait to see her finished.
  15. My last digital camera headed out the door when we got robbed about a month or so ago. Does that count?
  16. Very nice work. I love the Lil' Coffin Special. I gotta get another one of those, and the Boot Hill Express. Welcome Aboard!
  17. I've got one, but haven't had much opportunity to use it yet. The lady at Blick where I bought it tried to talk me out of it.
  18. Since I got back into car modelling, I've only got one Jo-Han kit. Full detail '63 Chrysler Turbine. It's in my stash until I'm skilled enough to build it the way I want. One of the exhaust ducts is short-shot, but otherwise it's in good shape and complete. I should be able to scratch-build the missing parts of the exhaust duct.
  19. A wooden plaque that I got at HL. Drilled holes into it and inserted looped copper rods. I can bend the rods however I need to hold the body.
  20. Brake fluid. Will also do Duplicolor lacquers.
  21. Would be nice. I loved the Testors issues of the Fujimi kits. The Porche 356a is a brilliant kit. I need to get another one so I can do it justice.
  22. Nice score! Hopefully, you're going to do a build-up of this kit, right?
