  1. I wish I had Velocity. I loved this show and watched all of the re-runs. Always makes me want to rebuild a car.
  2. Castrol Super Clean should have been in the Automotive section, usually in a big box store or auto parts store. The LA's Totally Awesome stuff is usually at dollar stores. Also heard of using bleach, and I generally use brake fluid.
  3. Glad to see Moebius is driving a little bit of a kitting war between the manufacturers. Maybe it'll spark some new subjects, like old Mopar.
  4. Very nice work!
  5. Gorgeous little bug! Nice job!
  6. Really nice work! I gotta get another one of the Henry J gassers.
  7. I've only got one really old kit, the 63 Chrysler Turbine. But it's the only way I'd ever get a copy of this kit. No one's re-popping the full detail one now, and the curbside isn't what I wanted.
  8. The orange Toyota Supra from "The Fast And The Furious" for $4 or so. I'm really impressed. It's a nice kit. Gonna ditch the big goofy spoiler and make it look more racing than tuner.
  9. What a crying shame. It was a beautiful build. Hopefully you can put her right again.
  10. I'm in complete awe of your talents. Keep up the good work~!
  11. Really outstanding work. Keep it up!
  12. Wow! Didn't know they made a full detail of this vehicle. You're doing an outstanding job so far.
  13. 14. Very nice work, and a good cause. My wife's got a congenital heart defect, so I do understand how high these medical bills can get. Good luck!!
  15. I've got one of the Testors/IMC 48 Fords, and the whitewalls are press on stickers. They actually came out really well and have stayed put so far.
  16. I use brake fluid. doesn't hurt the plastic at all. It's not fast sometimes, but it does the trick. I've also heard of people using bleach.
  17. I'm working on one of mine now; 78 Monte Carlo. And I've got another one in my stash but I have to get a body for it; 69 Dodge A100 series van. Unfortunately I'll never be able to build my current one without a LOT of scratchbuilding. No one makes a kit of a 2009 Malibu.
  18. Looks really good!
  19. Great job so far! Keep it up. I liked the rake on the test fits.
  20. A couple of hours a week typically, by the time I'm done with work, dinner, housework, cats, etc... Like Dr. Cranky said, never enough.
  21. Very nice! Great custom work on that one.
  22. Looking good so far! I need to get another one of these. I had one, way back when, but it went with the rest of my car model collection.
