  1. maybe some oddballs, like a 59 Buick Invicta or a 61 Plymouth?
  2. Channel locks and bear strength.
  3. Typically, white glues like Elmers dry clear, especially thinned as it would be in this case.
  4. Very nice work!

  6. I was doing a set of custom decals for the Enterprise and the set came with instructions to use a solution of a couple of drops of white glue in water to help stick them down. I painted the white glue/water solution down first, then placed the decal, then painted with solvaset. The decals went on like a dream. You might try something similar.
  7. Ummmm.... Kickstarter project to get you going?
  8. A Fosse kit could've been funny. Jazz Hands!
  9. I wish I had Velocity. I loved this show and watched all of the re-runs. Always makes me want to rebuild a car.
  10. Castrol Super Clean should have been in the Automotive section, usually in a big box store or auto parts store. The LA's Totally Awesome stuff is usually at dollar stores. Also heard of using bleach, and I generally use brake fluid.
  11. Glad to see Moebius is driving a little bit of a kitting war between the manufacturers. Maybe it'll spark some new subjects, like old Mopar.
  12. Very nice work!
  13. Gorgeous little bug! Nice job!
  14. Really nice work! I gotta get another one of the Henry J gassers.
  15. I've only got one really old kit, the 63 Chrysler Turbine. But it's the only way I'd ever get a copy of this kit. No one's re-popping the full detail one now, and the curbside isn't what I wanted.
  16. The orange Toyota Supra from "The Fast And The Furious" for $4 or so. I'm really impressed. It's a nice kit. Gonna ditch the big goofy spoiler and make it look more racing than tuner.
  17. What a crying shame. It was a beautiful build. Hopefully you can put her right again.
  18. I'm in complete awe of your talents. Keep up the good work~!
  19. Really outstanding work. Keep it up!
  20. Wow! Didn't know they made a full detail of this vehicle. You're doing an outstanding job so far.

  22. Very nice work, and a good cause. My wife's got a congenital heart defect, so I do understand how high these medical bills can get. Good luck!!
  23. I've got one of the Testors/IMC 48 Fords, and the whitewalls are press on stickers. They actually came out really well and have stayed put so far.
  24. I use brake fluid. doesn't hurt the plastic at all. It's not fast sometimes, but it does the trick. I've also heard of people using bleach.
