Mine was doing the SAME thing. I installed IE8, available on my computer, and then changed my options to the "Comfy" mode a Badda bing, no mo problems! Hope this helps.

Kev, There WAS no 66 Ford Ranchero based on the Fairlane. It was a Falcon based model. It MAY have been on a Fairlane platform, but it had Falcon sheetmetal. 67 too. They may have built one for Canadian sales only, but there wasn't one here in the states.

At first I thought there were double plugs in that hemi, then I realised that it was a reflection in the Chrome Valve covers!!! Great job on the fuel lines,etc. WISH I had THAT kinda patience! Looks GREAT so far!! PLEASE keep us posted!!!

Well Juerg, Didn't I tell ya it would look killer??? That was the LAST beautiful Mustang Ford EVER built! Everyone AFTER THAT style was just a car! The color, wheel/tire combo, BMF, even the engine came out just BEAUTIFUL!!! 69/70 Mustangs are my FAVORITE Mustangs, and I'm not EVEN a Ford guy! This biuld came out just like all the rest of your builds Juerg, FANTASTIC!!!!!

Ok Paul, I just went and checked, and that kit DOESN'T come with a Boss 429. It has a 427 SOHC engine in it. The 70 Galaxie by Model King comes with a Boss 429 and it looks ok to me. The old MPC kits had a pretty good lookin Boss 429 engine in their Ford or Mercury kits. look in the old Street Cat mercury Cougar kits for a nice one. As far as the 427 SOHC engines are concerned, they are a completely different animal from a Boss 429. NO parts are interchangeable. But like I always say, It's just PLASTIC, an you can do ANYTHING you want with it!

Duhhh ISN'T the new Bel Aire kit popped off the B/W 210 mold? If ya want a 210 why not just but the Black Widow? I doesn't have the Bel Aire trim to begin with.

Paul, depends on watcha mean by "accurate" Do they LOOK like Boss 429 Valve covers? Yeah, I'd say so, but they're LARGER than the ones that came with the engines in JoHans old Comet/Maverick Pro stockers. They look ok when compared to the ones from the old MPC kits. I guess it's just a matter of personal prefrence, but they look ok to me.

Pat, I'd call a staff meeting to discuss the inequities of the situation and try to find a fix that is agreeable to all involved parties! (and DON'T settle for a skateboard, OR a Fiesta!!!! )

Scale Auto Enthusiast's Annual April Fools issue. Back when Gary Schmidt used to own it. He and his crew would come up with crazy gags every April. You guys remember the "Spray Away 2000" spray that would turn your model bodies CLEAR? they used an old clear MPC GTO stock car body to help with the gag. "Just spray it on" and the body turns CLEAR! I used to LOVE it back then! Now I get it just cause it's still being printed. It's lost ALL it's "For Modelers, By Modelers" qualities for me. I miss the old Car Modeler series too. Kalmbach just got rid of that one an butchered up SAE while they were at it.
