The front of it looks TOO much like a "face" with the headlight blackout and the "grinning"grille. Remindes me too much of them weird lookin jap thingies. No thanks,I'm just too old school it think.

In the end, it was the uneven stiching on the inside of the roof,over the windsheild,that made me think twice. But Daaaaam harry, you shore got me on this'n! But then again, I DO feel sorry for the builder, caz he DO got him some anility problems! Jeese, he even put the rivets on the INSIDE of the door window frames!!!!GOOD JOB,Kahuna!!!!

Actually I think the front wells flow nicely with the rears.

Marshall, You have the Valve covers on UPSIDE DOWN! The 3 bolts go on the TOP and the 4 bolts go on the bottom! You can use black electrical tape, cut to width as a belt. It's lookin good so far.I always notice it when the valve covers are on upside down,cas I have a big block chevy in my daughters Camaro.

Well, as they say, to each his own, but I thought it was ugly with the top down,YEESH it's EVEN UGLIER with the top UP!!!! Building one is scale looks like a challenge,but if your up to it, Go for it.Unfortunatly It WON'T get any prettier in scale,but as I said, to each his own.

Cal, are they the little wooden cars from (I think) germany,with the interchangeable parts? I have seen them at Macy's Dept.store. They have about 3/4 different cars.They are kinda expensive for what they are.(wooden cars)

Yeah Juergen, The AMT OLD version of this kit is probably the BEST of the bunch. The Boyd Coddington is the latest version of this kit. Let me know if you want one, Maybe I can find it over here if you can't get it over there. You gonna start another one,or you just showin us a previous build? OH YEAH Jurg, the chop MADE it!!! I chopped mine and it TOTALLY made a difference! The roofs on them rascals are TOO high anyway in my opinion. This is already lookin good.Funny what a little off the top can do!
