Mike, it's kinda too late now, but it woulda helped if ya'd a filled the gap over the right side front fender cove. that gap is really detracting from the nice finished look. It DID come out GREAT considering what you started with. This was NOT the best kit to start with. It was just a slightly modified issue of the 69 kit,and it showed the sloppy job Revell did on it! I happen to have both kits,a mint 69,and a 70 just about in the same condition as yours. Now that I've seen how nice yours came out,I just might try givin mine a shot! GREAT SAVE!!!

IF I could get someone to sit down with me to teach me how to post properly, I could PROBABLY get it, But Joy don't got much patience with her ol Dad, an she gets REAL frustrated when I DON'T get it down RIGHT NOW!!! Ed, that's all I know how to make! But I figgered it might be worth learning caz to me, it'd be EASIER for ME to learn than the picture posting thing! Like I said, I can do easy stuff, Valve covers,Rims, one peice mold stuff, but I'd LIKE to be able to MAKE stuff an cast it. I know if I ask the right questions, you guys'll know the right answers!

Oh HOW WELL you know me Bill! Yeah it's all greek to me so far, but I'm sure the box it comes in would have that kinda info. I've never done anything like this, I've casted small stuff like valve covers an mags but never anything larger than that. I'd like ta try it with larger stuff. The machine is only 11.00 bucks, the dam POT is like 60 Bucks! but I got a 20% off coupon, an I'm willing to try it. Jeff Ballard is a member of our club, but I don't know if he'd help the"Competition" Anyways, since I got so much time on my hands I thought I MIGHT give it a shot. Like I said, maybe someday you guys'll be talkin about MY flawless,bubble free,PERFECT resin castings! Hey, din't one of the guys once mention a website where they sell resin an give advice about casting?

Guys, I'm wantin to try my hand at casting some resin, but not the little stuff, I wanna try to do larger stuff like MAYBE a customed out body. Harbor Freight has an air vacuum pump for R134A and R12 auto systems. Is this sufficient to pull the right amount of vacuum in a pressure pot? I can get both of them at a reasonable price, but I don't wanna waste my money if it won't work. Can anybody who does this help me out? Who knows MAYBE I can be the next Holthaus!

Not a 1/8 guy myself, but my Big Brudder had one of them years ago, that he souped up with some of those old hop up kits they usta make for them! It was cool! If you fly with that monster,you'll probly hafta buy an EXTRA seat for it!!! Can we see some pics of it? Like Bill said, Details Daddy-O, Details!!!
