  1. Harry, since I've seen those dam models by CMC that're advertised in the back of the mag, This one is a REAL stumper! I'm gonna go with REAL for my own reasons, but it COULD be one of them. Still.......
  2. If ya hang in there,I'll betcha they'll pop a convertable of it jus like they did the 65,an it'll save ya the trouble of hackin one up. Of course unless ya like ta do that kinda stuff
  3. Scott, Yeeesh it looks like it rolled! You did a GREAT job of bringin it back! What happened? looks like someone either dropped it flat on it's roof, or they put something on top of it,that crushed it. Either way, it came back great!!
  4. Tim, if you want a C/S coupe I'd guess Mini Exotics is your answer, BUUUUTTTTT, If you want a regular ol 68 Mustang Coupe, Then Missing Link,OR Motor City Resins IS the way to go! Their castings(Both ML,MCR) are PERFECT! PLUS They cast them as they're ordered, only takes a few days to get them if their in stock, and they LOOK like plastic! If you get one of theirs, you WON'T be dissapointed! Their stuff is TOPS!!!(plus the price is reasonable!)
  5. Matt, THAT really looks NICE!!! Those old MPC/AMT kits are REALLY rare nowdays,an this just made them super affordable! How much is that rascal? GREAT job!
  6. Thanks,Rob an Harry, but to be honest, I was better off NOT knowin!
  7. Jose, That rascal'll hafta get ALOT uglier to even come CLOSE to the skwirlly one Bro! It's TOO pretty ta even be related! Great build though, I've never seen onea them buggys done! Yours looks GREAT! gotta agree with Rat Rod, LOVE that TURBO!!!
  8. Bran, WHAT's a Kei? If your talkin about a KIA, then I think yer outta luck, caz I've NEVER even HEARD of a MODEL of one!
  9. Nige, when my 2nd 95 Impala SS was stolen an stripped, there wasn't even THAT much left of it! Around here, when these bastiges STRIP a car, They STRIP a car! They even took the time to UNSCREW ALL the electrical wireing AND took the screwnuts TOO! Only thing they left were the small quarter glass peices! At least yours could theoretically be rebuilt! Big differences in car thieves from your country to OURS!!! Hey maybe you could build a dunebuggy from whats left! Uhhh, you guys GOT dunes over in Ireland?
  10. Well, you asked for honesty, so I'll be honest an tell you that your prices are too high. Even Micheal's Crafts prices are lower than yours,WITHOUT a coupon. 25.00 for a kit is too much. And when you add shipping, there's no reason to order anything from your store. Sorry to be so blunt, but, that's the truth. I do wish you succes in your venture an hope you do well. I don't know if the Canadian/U.S exchange rate would make a difference, but it might. As I said, I wish you much luck in your endevour.
  11. BOTH them bad boy's waz cool!! I did like the camper trailer, but I LOVED the green Lo-LOW ! Man what country was IT from? Would that thing even be LEGAL in this country??? TOOO COOOL!!!!

  13. THAT looks GREAT Jair! Trans Am Erik took me to a slot track thursday nite,an MAN was it cool!!! Haven't been to one in about 35 years! I couldn't believe how far they've come! Got that kit, now I need a lightweight frame,an FAST motor to go with it!!! Great Build!!!
  14. Harry, Juergen is a cop in his town in Austria, thats probly just his Billy Club!!!
  15. Jurg, this bad boys gonna be ANOTHER monster! Jus the color of it is killer! The interior is awesome,GREAT detail! The color, wheels, stance just flow together SOOOO nicely! You GO brother! Lookeen Goooood!!!
  16. J, I just went an checked one of mine out(I gotta coupla them) an there's a pin on the front crossmember that fits into a hole that is located on the oil pan in FRONT of the sump. THEN there's a hole on top of the TRANS that fits another pin thats molded into the TOP of the trans hump that fits into THAT hole, Finally the Driveshaft fits into it's respective hole at the end of the trans. If even one of those holes/pins is OFF the engine will NOT properly position itself. Hope this helps. I know how something that trivial can make ya nutty! All in all, I think you did a GREAT job on it, I don't understand why so many guys thought it was a peice of sh!t kit, I think yours came out really NICE!!!GREAT BUILD!!
  17. And enjoy it I shall,Len. You guys ALWAYS do a killer job with your build-ups!!! I'm looking forward to it!
  18. Bill, that's just EXTRA protein! Mike-O hadta pay EXTRA fer that, dontcha know!!!
  19. Wow,Dan, it's not like's a WHOLE LOTTA body on these types of cars,is there? Guess they're MORE of a challenge caz of that,eh? Whatcha got there looks good though! At least it offeres the chance to detail the heck outta them! Like the color,AND the wheels!
  20. WHAAAA????? The almost as BIG Kahunas Barfday is TODAY??? WHY dintcha put it in the Birthday list Big Guy??? How we sposed ta know these things IF YA DON"T tell us??? NOT tellin us AIN'T gonna keep it from comin!!! So then HARPY BARFDAY Harry, ya should tol us so's we din't wake yer ol ornery a$$ up so early!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Brother, I wish you MANY MANY more!!!!!!
  21. Dan, check out Alan Raab, overt Ma's Resins, he has some NICE ones! I think you'll like 'em!
  22. One more strike Fuje, an yer gonna hafta play outfeild!!! Hey Harry, WAS it your B-day yestitty? I don't 'member seein it in the B-day list. If so, WELL THEN, HARPY BARFDAY ol Man!!!!!!!!
  23. Dave, sounds like yer talkin about the old Revell kits of the 55'56'57 Chevys. The had all the things your describing, the Roth kits were like that too, along with the Orange Crate 32 sedan, the 56 Ford F-100, an a few others. Revell's engines of that time were MUITI-multi peice engines that had alot of detail in them. AMT,an MPC'S engine's didn't have those added internal details in them until lately, I THINK they mighta started with the 66 Nova release. Before that, only the old(now re-issued)parts pac engines featured those details. Hope this helps. You LHS owner sounds like a younger guy.
  24. Ok, so it's the Olds, big deal! we already have that style with the old Jo Han kit, not much excitement for ME there, sorry! Now if ya had shown the 66 Impala, THAT woulda got my ol juices ta flowin! Not that it won't be a nice kit, mind you, it HAS to be an improvement over Johans kit, BUT I WAS lookin forward to the Impala. Sorry I'm not as excited as I COULDAVE been, but I KNOW you guy's 'll build the livin heck outta it, just like you always do. I'll be lookin forward to it.(the build that is) Ok,Ok, I AM glad ta see it, And I'll probly get about 3 of 'em(my usual amount)BUT I STILL woulda liked to seen the Impala!
