Harry's right on the trans kit reply, it can also be just a body that you buy to build a model you want. Like Jimmy Flintstones 70 El Camino. No such animal, BUT if ya get his body, an an AMT 70 Chevelle, you CAN have one. Transkits are cool, caz you can get you a NICE model of a car the model co.s have never popped! You CAN also get a Funeral Hearse or Ambulance from Jimmy, just in case ya wanna build onea them too!

Guys, NOTHING personal meant to the gentleman who puts his heart into his baby, BUT it IS a niche magazine. For those who are into it's subject matter, I DO BELEIVE it IS a Godsend. I LOVE Muscle Cars and I get my satisfaction from the 2 mags I subscribe to, But for the guys who DO get into rod an customs I'm SURE this magazine is WORTH MORE to them than me. I LIKE rods an customs mind you, but to the guys who LOVE them, THIS mag is probly the Kat's Pajamas!!! I won't be jumpin on the wagon just yet, BUT I can understand WHY you guys are excited, It's EXACTLY how I felt ALLLL those years ago when I discovered SAE in the book store! FINALLY I thought a MODEL CAR magazine FOR ME!!!! I REALLY DO understand the excitement! Sorry if I came off rather UNinterested, But as you all know, as I have said before, I LOVE MUSCLE CARS! They're what I grew up with an what I know BEST about. I LOVE a nice Hot Rod, That's why I LIKE ALL of Lyle's builds, HE'S got THAT line DOWN! When I actually get to see one, I may change my mind, but money IS tight, an I do gotta be picky on what I spend it on. That's one reason I subscribe, it's ALOT less that individual issues, and if the gentleman who does publish it gets enough subscribers, hopefully, the price'll come down a bit, and then I can take one out for a test spin. I AM HAPPY for you guys, as I KNOW THE FEELING of findin a treasure like that! Been with Both my mags for LOOOOOONG time and even though I got my favorite,I DO love/enjoy them both! Congratulations on finally gettin a mag that's EXCLUSIVELY for you guys!

Guys I saw this kit last nite, up close an personal and it's NICE!!!!!! Looks JUST like plastic, an it's popped from the old MPC annual kit, so it's PERFECTLY proportioned,and looks GREAT! Other that the recent re-pop of the Firefighter kit, you CAN'T find a stock version of this year Mustang. Just use the interior/chassis of the Firefighter kit, an you'll have a REAL nice kit of a stock Mustang! Probly for a LOT less that TRYIN ta find one! I liked it, you will too!!!

I remember years ago,when someone claiming to be Art Anderson,told me he hadta quit makin the GMC grilles and tailgates for AMT's Chevy pick-up, cas GM laywers told him he hadta cease an desist usein their trademark without their permission! How can Perry's get away with it, UNLESS he paid them the BIG bucks????
