Wow Ed, I'm sure glad you got some info finally! Larry's been a hit or miss at our meetings, but at his age, I'm glad just to know he's doin well from MONTH to MONTH!!! I still have the list of questions you sent, an the next time he comes I'll ask him. But regardless, I'm happy you DID finally get some answers, an I'd like to see your Deora when she's finished!

Blues, I member that article, an I THINK he mentioned he built 2, one where he actually glued the doors down because the fuel line hoses an related stuff wouldn't let them sit flush with the body panels. I got 3 of them on sale,I think I may have traded one and I MAY raid one for parts(I LOVE me some Can-Am BIG Block Chebbys!) Yeah, the were clearin em out at 20 bucks caz they'd been there too long! So I jus bought em all! They ARE some EXTREMELY Detailed kits, jus like the Sebring Vette kits they popped. BUT they were EXPENSIVE when they first came out, an I'm a cheep ol fart,so I got me a coupla them on sale too.! VERY nice kits with LOTSA detail! These kits AIN'T NO WALK IN THE PARK,BUT they sure look nice when they's dun right! I don't think it ain't nuttin you CAN'T do,Sam, look at how nice that Ferrari in you avitar came out!!! Go for it Bro!!!!

Charlz, wats the confusion about? I'm 56,an I been at this for OVER 50 YEARS now,an I can't build like the majority of the guys here! So wat? I STILL have fun doin the messes I build! THAT IS what it's all about! Don't even worry about your skills or abilities,we're all different,remember, the trick is to ENJOY a hobby, you DON'T hafta win a GSL trophy. If your havein fun, trying to do well, then just enjoy it! Personally some guys DO get kinda anal about building,but it make THEM happy,an THAT'S the jist of it! You DON'T hafta build Like TreeHugger Or Raul Or Bill Or any of these GREAT builders, just build like Charlz, You'll see yourself gettin better,We're NEVER to old to learn new stuff, an though some things may be difficult to master at first, with practice you'll get better! That's why we're here, really, to talk ,and learn, and enjoy seeing others skills displayed, an maybe givin us a goal to reach for! I still wanna learn to paint like MR.BIGGS, to fabricate like Treehugger, detail like Bill G. or have the imagination of Raul to make his ideas come true. These guys are JUST like you an me,they just have honed their skill it a consumate level! If you wanna get THAT good, you can, it's all in the desire. I'm happy with me,so I'll probly never get any better, but, I'm fine with that too! Just make yourself happy. If you WANNA learn to build like that, you sure came to the RIGHT place,caz all the guys I mentioned are more that willing to give you GREAT advice! Just enjoy what you do,caz it's supposed to be a RELAXING hobby!

Welp Shane, I wanted to see wheels on it,an you proviced. LOOKS GREAT an it ain't even done! Usual fine attention to detail,great paint, sure looks like a HOT ROD to me!!!!

Welcome Oscar! Glad your here! Being able to build a model kit IS a lesson in patience and a skill that must be developed! EVERY body here was in your shoes once, some of us STILL are! Don't worry about how your 1st one turns out, just take your time,anbe neat. Most of us,if not all ,prefer to use spray paints as they go on thinner an smoother than Brush paints. TAKE YOUR TIME! Can't emphisize this enough! This is where the patience comes in! You'll get better with every build! Don't loose confidence in yourself,NONE of us built show stoppers right away! If you do look around, you'll see some of these guys really are WORLD CLASS builders,they ALL started JUST LIKE YOU! Do your best and ENJOY our hobby,caz it's young guys that are going to keep it alive! Please ask questions and DON'T get discouraged, cas it IS a learning process! Someday folks may OOOOh and AHHH over your builds too!

Real nice build,Rick. I've always liked those slotted mags, had them on both My 69 Charger AND Super Bee. Makes the car look even racier! Great color for it too. What kit is it? the Polar Lights kit in 25th or the Mono kit in 24th? whatever scale, it came out NICE!

Yeeesh Mike, I wish I had known you were lookin for one,I bought a totally stock on at the last toyshow I went to for 20 bucks! I'da gave it to ya for the same! Fella's I ordered some very odd ball parts from forum member cnaind (Alan Raab) who posted a few days back about a resin casting service he had. Well guys they came and MAN are they NICE!!! JUST AS GOOD as the best out there! He made me a BEAUTIFUL 68 Toro BENCH seat that came out PERFECT! Dam I wish I could take pics so ya'll could see JUST how nice they are! EXACTLY like the originals! AND he's got a ton of stuff to copy from. I offered to send him the masters, but he ALREADY HAD THEM! How popular is the 68 Toro, where I got my peices from? But HE had one! I will DEFANATELY recommend him,and I WILL be ordering from him again! Try him out guys,his stuff looks as good as a million bucks! Oh, and he was EXTREMELY reasonable on his priceing AND S/H. Just can't say enough,I'm SOOOO happy with them!!!! GREAT FORUM BROTHER!!!!

Ok fellas here's the deal, I went over to see whats up, an the dam thing WON'T let me in,AGAIN!!! I NEVER changed ANYTHING on my end an now it wants me to sign in as a new member! It tells me it has no record of my name or password! It's gettin to be too much of a hassle to RE sign up every time I'd like to use it. Can ANYONE tell me WHY it changes? I've used it many times an have even bought stuff from Gregg, so WHY isn't it lettin me in? It's at the point where it's not worth the trouble of tryin ta see whats on.
