Wow, Those ARE some nice builds Kidd-O! I belong to the DownRiver Model Car Club. We meet the 3rd Friday of every month at the Dearborn Ice Skateing Center on Ford Road just about a 1/4 mile from the Southfeild Freeway. We got about 45 members, mostly older farts like myself, but we got a few younger kids in it too. You REALLY should try to check us out, it's a neat club. Oh, an I live about 2 blocks from Allen Road an Southfeild intersection. I used to go to the model swapmeets at ClintonDale High, before they moved to MCCC.

Ryan, It may not mean much, But I can personally vouch for Jeff Ballard and Motor City Resins! I've purchased 2 of his resin bodies, and at our next club meeting, I'm hope ing to purchase a 3rd! The resin looks JUST LIKE styrene plastic! His conversions are just about perfect, at least I couldn't find fault in them. I own the 70 Falcon/Torino conversion, and the 71 Mustang Coupe conversion, and I hope he remembers to bring his latest one, a 67 Comet 202 coupe to this months meeting. Yes, You can buy from Jeffb and Motor City Resin with total confidence of getting a QUALITY casted kit!

Ol Roger ain't no dummy, I think he'll make it work. How many plants did he end up with? I thought they were onlyb built in springhill, but is there another plant? He bought the Detroit Deisel Plant 20 some years ago,an their still up an runnin. I think they might have a chance,hopefully.

Will you be casting only clear parts? Would you do "special orders" if the are sent ready to cast? I'd like to see something like various types of bench seats, to make conversions into everyday types of cars. I wish you luck and prosperity in your venture.

I gotta agree with Lee! Looks GOOD! The lines flow into each other well for being 2 completely different designs. You've done a real nice job of blending them, now go put some glass in it!

WoW Kevin, THAT'S some REAL out the box thinkin! I LOVE it! Yep, I can see the T-Bird lines in it too! Shouldn't be too hard to fab a grille, those cars all seemed to share basic styling cues. This will be a REALLY interesting conversion, I'm looking forward too it. I hope you do complete it cas it would be a GREAT master for some resin caster.(Just find an honest one) I'd be nice to have a "normal " family car for a change.Everything(just about) out now is a copy of an older kit.It'd be nice to see a whole new casting of something NEVER done before. Keep us up to date,please!
