  1. It's REAL Harry! The antenna is too thin NOT to be real. But I HAVE been known to be wrong.(but NOT this time)
  2. This day is NOT for the living. It is to REMEMBER the TRUE HEROES of our country. We are ONLY here thru the grace of God. THEY are with him, because they gave their most precious gift BACK. WE must NEVER forget THEM in thinking about ourselves.THEY are the TRUE AMERICAN HEROES. We only played in the same games.God Bless you ALL ,my Brothers. You SHALL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. Rest in Peace.
  3. Yeah Bob, for 10 bucks, they are TOO good a deal to pass up! I usually get one or two at the shows he comes to here in Detroit! BUT that paint job izza whole nuther story! Too bad i can't get Jimmies bodies already painted like THAT!!!GREAT lookin build!
  4. Beautiful build Mike, I personally think the wheels are just a teenie tiny tad too big, but it's your ride. Don't change the fact that it's a GREAT lookin build!
  5. Tu eres bien loco, carnal!!
  6. Thanks for the warning Bro! I WILL keep that kinda stuff in mind when we finally can mess around with that stuff. Those LOOK like the Semi Tractors. Do they combine to make a BIGGER transformer?
  7. Clay, thans for splainin to me! I really wasn't aware of all that stuff caz I raised a little girl! Now ask me about Barbie stuff an I'd probly know more about THAT! Be she's Preggers agin an she's havin a boy! (Praise God!) So I hope to find out ALL ABOUT them there Transformy thingies!!!
  8. Now yer makein sense ta me Greg, If the stuff ain't in the kit, YOU'LL MAKE IT!!!! Now THAT'S the Stump I've come ta know an luv!!! Ya know, I don't think yer crazy so much, as I just LOVE the way you solve problems inherint to customizing! If'n it don't exist, you MAKE it exist! I LIKE that. To me THAT'S the essence of MODEL MAKEING. You and Santiago are the only 2 guys on this forum I know personally, who build in this scale and you BOTH can do some INCREDABLE things in these off the wall scales! Have you seen his 1/16th 63 Chevy? Same as you, he's gotta make all his stuff too! I'm just blown away by your talent Greg, To me your up WAY up there on MY creativity scale! And ta think we became freinds over some Dog dishes an steelies! Best dam swap I ever made! You GO Bro, The BEST is yet to come!I an PROUD ta call you my Aussie mate!!!!!!!
  9. Wow Clay, until the movies came out I wasn't too in the know about Transformers. Do you combine peices(characters) to make ONE vehicle? Or does each individual vehicle makes it's own complete character? Like is the jet looking thingie a SINGLE toy? or is it made up of a coupla different ones? These are neat lookin little toys.
  10. Dan, the engine LOOKS like the 426/440 RB block the came in the AMT 48 Merc kit. Since you cut an changed tranny's, I can't say for sure, but it sure looks like it.
  11. Dave, This thing is just too cool! I'm not into lo-lo's but this one's jus da MOOK! The driver dude is jus the ticket to finish it off too! GREAT BUILD,GREAT PAINT too!
  12. Well Ed After yer done with that Ford yer workin on, you'll get ta work onna Mack!!!
  13. Will, the convert is a Big Block, so are all the others EXCEPT the Z-28! That's the ONLY one that comes with the small block 302. But the Revell kit is LIGHT YEARS ahead of the AMT kit, and ALOT nicer than the original MPC tooling. Which wasn't too bad to begin with, and STILL nicer than the AMT version.
  14. Well I'll be a hornswaggeled Hornytoad!!!! Ya got me GOOD on this'n Harry! I'da bet MONEY it was real! Glad I din't! Dang Harry, yer GOOD!!!!! See ya next Romday!!!!!
  15. 69 Charger R/T 440 4spd. 69 Superbee 440 Auto. 69 Camaro SS. 69 Nova SS. 95 Impala SS These are MY favorite cars, because I've been privliged to actually own them. I don't daydream about cars I CAN'T afford, no matter how cool they are. I'm a realist and if I can't afford it, I don't even consider it. These cars I mentioned were FAST, Beautiful, and MINE!!!! My Daughter owns the Camaro now,I still own the Impala, but I'll NEVER forget my Charger, my FAVORITE of the bunch!!!

  21. WoW Dave, you sure didn't let it get you down! These look GREAT! HO scale? I din't know 1/87th WAS HO! Good luck on your recovery my freind, looks like you picked an EXCELLENT therapy program. Best of luck on gettin back into the swing of things!!
  22. Welp guys, I just got this mornins Free Press, an they're makin a big deal about the new Camaro in the auto section and the latest issue of Hot Rod is too. They keep sayin it's styled after the 69 Camaro, but the ONLY 69 trait I see are the simulated vents on the rear quarters. The grille is styled after the 69 the paper said, but the 67/68 had that same style of grille. The wheelwells are ROUNDED like a 67/68, and looks in NO WAY like a 69! My 69 had the squared off tops of the wheelwells that seemed to be a 69 exclusive design.(It's Joy's car now. I gave it to her, she's givin me a GRANDSON! so I think I got the better deal! sides, I STILL get to drive it!!! ) But wat do you guts think? 67/68 or 69 style? Even the taillights don't look 69. The 68 had the segemented taillamp bezels, or was it the 67? ANYWAY, It don't look like any 69 I ever saw, unless you talk about the roofline. Just don't excite me like I thought it would. I saw a Chally, and man that things BIG, NOT like the 70's I remember! Never thought about Mustangs AFTER 70. Still don't (NO offense Harry) So waddaya guys think? 67/68 or 69? Maybe after I see more of them out, it'll grow on me, but for now, I'm comfortable in my 95 Impala SS.
  23. WHAT seperate trunk lid????? I've got at least 5 of those kits, convert and hardtop, and NONE of mine have seperate trunk lids. WHAT kit are you refering to???
  24. Donster, I'm lucky(and old enough) in that I still have both a 67 and 68 AMT Galaxies unbuilt. I'm kinda a pac rat. I've had the 67 since K'mart Blew them out in 68! The 68 I was lucky to trade for so I lucked out there too! Carruch, Ain't that the way it ALWAYS goes? Ya spend some hard earned BIG bucks for a kit, an here 20 years later, They go an pop it, at a real fair price! Oh well, NOW it'll finally get built, stead of bein grokked all the time! It'll be nice to compare the differences!
