It looks good Jeff, and It'll look even better when your finished!

Harry, when my 95 Impala SS was stolen(my second one) The insurance agent called me to the yard to ID it, I wish he hadn't,as it was COMPLETELY stripped the ONLY thing left on it was the glass.EVERYTHING that was bolted on was just unbolted and taken.EVERYTHING! It looked like a body in white, only it was black. They left NOTHING but a bare cab! They even took ALL the wireing out! Sound deadener, the works! I wish I had never seen it. I still have nightmares about it. My present Impala(my 3rd one) has got more security stuff on it then you'd ever imagine! It can't even be TOWED away! If they get this one, they get a few 9MM " Blue Glazer" rounds along with it!!!! -
Well, from the looks of it Zootman, your gettin REALLY close!

I gots ta square wichyu on dat one Bro. But I do remember them Willy's 4wh. drive commercials! An they drove the pi$$ outta them things!!!!

STOLEN MODEL ALERT........
george 53 replied to Jeff Sauber's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
What a sleezeball! ANYONE who would do something like that isn't even worthy of THAT name, but, I can't get any obscene. When I was a young boy, A model of mine was stolen. I was only about 12 but I NEVER publicly displayed my models EVER again, and now at 56, I still don't. I was really proud of that car, and it didn't even rate when compared to the workmanship and detail in yours, but I liked it, and to have it stolen messed my little head up to the point that I'm at now! Talk about a traumatic experience! Anyhow J, I do FEEL your pain!!!!!And you have my sympathys. -
REAL NICE lookin Goat Bri! Take another pose with it an the Chevelle, a RAM AIR IV 455 would be more than a fair race with that Chevy! Looks GOOD, I really like the color!

Thanks a TON,Steve.I have the 71 Riv, and the 70 Chrysler 300. Yeah they both don't come NEAR what Art used to do, As I do have a few AAM models I got years ago. Please don't get me wrong, they ARE nice kits, but you need ta do alot of clean-up on both of them, nothing hard, just general cleaning up of window openings, wheelwells, you know, stuff that Art used to do BEFORE he sold 'em. BOTH kits do build up well though, I must say. I'll check with Steve over at Resin Realm/Star models to see if he has any more of them Old's, ya just gotta love them big ol boats!
-
No problems Rod, the kid in the Mope jus wantsta see wat kinda motor just blew his car away!!! Even a 340 T/A Six Pak wasn't a match for a 450HP 454 LS-7!!! Ya jus GOTTA love this one!!!
-
Well, if that's a accurate copy of one of Art's old castings,I'm DEFINATELY gonna get one! Has anyone else copied one of your castings Art? I sure do miss AAM.
-
No doubt Bri! It looks pretty cool to me! It's nice that you were able to stay in scale with both your rides, as opposed to mixin 24th/25th. It came out REAL nice, I like it!( although I WAS lookin for a Black 55 and an Orange 70 GTO.)

Tommy, THAT'S what the WHITE in "Great White North" is ALL ABOUT!!! Snow Is Neet! It's COOL and ,when it's not TOO deep, it's FUN!!!!! I've lived here almost all my life, been to countries where they've NEVER HEARD of snow, an I STILL love the stuff. Ya just gotta know how to get around in it, which is sumpthin us Northerners grow up doin! (well, Most of us do!) (Oh, an YEAH, I wanna be JUS LIKE JOHN!!!!) -
Duhhhhhh, the tailights are sequential? I did not know that! Thank you's. ( an black out that chrome trim ring around the tailights while your at it!)

GREAT Dio, MTM, Looks REALLY cool! The only thing I can see,is the fact that ya left the front seat runners in place. Those go with the seats! They bolt in with 4 bolts each, and the floorpan has the nutserts welded into it. Other than that small detail, I think it looks great! Oh, and I can see your new, so I'll just tell ya, your supposed to put your name, first preferably,in your sig,it's the rules,an it also makes for a freindlier intro, Welcome to the BEST forum in all of webdom!!!! -
Looks better black. Yeah, an I'd use paint too.
-
To be honest with you Marcos, that engine DOES look kinda big for 25th scale. Looks more BB size than SB. There's also a neet v-6 in the Monogram El Camino that has a nice look to it when complete.I'm talking about the Bass Fishing set. But I think the other versions had one too. I got a couple, let me know if ya need one, I got 2 GNX turbo motors too.Let me know an they're yours.

Thanks B an Aaron, I didn't even THINK of useing epoxy! Good suggestion. If anyone else has a suggestion, I'd be willing to entertain it.Maybe after a few more, I'll have the guts to tackle it. I just wanna weigh my options here, and NOT mess it up! Thanks again Bran,an Aaron, I REALLY appericiate it! -
Guys, This morning my BEAUTIFUL 4 yr old Grandaughter Emmi accedentaly knocked one of my Danbury Mint models off a shelf. Fortunately it was only about 4 1/2 feet off the floor, but thats about 6 or 7 car lengths in 24th scale. Well it knocked off the Front Bumper/ Grille, windsheild, windsheild moulding, an some little things like the drivers mirror. It's the 70 Charger and one of my favorites. I'm pretty sure I can repair it, but WHAT kind of superglue should I use? The regular stuff I get at Riders will fog the paint,AND the windows, so I don't trust useing it. Have any of you guys had a problem like this? This car was a Christmas gift from Joy, and I REALLY want to fix it, but NOT mess it up either. Can ANYBODY recommend a SAFE NON-FOGGING type of superglue? What do the guys at Danbury use? Aren't there some members(member) that used to do work for them(the Mints)? Can one of you guys help a brutha out? Thanks Bros,it's REALLY appericiated
