  1. Holy Shamoly, after seein that Falcon, Yeeesh, it's no wonder your paint jobs are so killer!!! You do EXCELLENT work, and your reasons for moving to a smaller, quieter location sure do sound valid to me. I wish you luck in your endevour, cas man, your REALLY GOOD!!!
  2. Harry, I shoulda tol ya, But I got mine Sat. And the lil Hawiian dude should be clearin the tip of the mitt right about now! SO you SHOULD be gettin yours shortly! If you didn't get a chance to proof read it before it goes to print, you'll like it. It's GOOD!
  3. Well he sure is gonna be a good lookin kid! Congratulations to you's ALL, Mom,Dad, Grampa AND Grama! Welcome to the world Andrew, God Bless You!!!!!!
  4. Awww, Who REALLY knows Chuck, mebbe that's why G.M. killed them!
  5. I jus gotta chuckle at this one, caz I KNEW the Cranky one would like it! It LOOKS GREAT, but mebbe it could use a lil more wear on the inside. It does have that abandoned out inna field look to it! Great job so far!

  7. Aww c'mon Shane, you KNOW a lil thing like what we mentioned sure AIN'T gonna stop ya from building one!!! You KNOW YOU WANT TO!!!!
  8. Well I for one have NEVER seen a better brick wall done for a Dio! That's GREAT It LOOKS REAL in my opinion. I think it would be nice if ya did a how-to for the Magazine! That's someting we could ALL use inna diorama!LOOKS GREAT!!!
  9. Dave, that's what made me laugh at the picture. That ain't nuthin but a 68 Dart with a Hemi in it! THAT does NOT constitute a REAL LIVE HEMI DART!!!!! They didn't mod the rear wheelwells, Which was a dead giveaway to a factory HD. Wonder if they'll mod the drive train ? It SHOULD be runnin a Dana rear end, not the 8 3/4 rear that's in the present Dart kits. Yeah, I'm with you on this one,and I really hope it IS an actual Hemi Dart!
  10. Ed, I wouldn't be surprised if the cat ends up DRIVIN on of his creations! Seems he's ALWAYS got a lil SOMETHIN inna works! THAT'S why ya jus GOTTA love 'im!!!
  11. Bob, now you KNOW the Treehugger's got an affinity for them big wheels! But, to be honest witcha, ANY wheels he puts on that rascal are goona look good! It's all a part of his final design, and they ALWAYS look GREAT! Don't stop now Dave, even in prime an bondo she's lookin good!
  12. Never cared for the custom options on that particular kit, BUT, that fantastic paint job is a WHOLE 'nuther story! A coat like that makes even a pauper look like a million bucks!!! GREAT paint job, REAL nice build!!!
  13. Jeeeze, I got a 66 impala still in the box, that I paid OVER 200 bucks for! NOW were FINALLY gettin a new tool 66? This just makes it easier to build it, cas now I can compare the 2! I'm just SOOO happy to hear this!!!
  14. Dave, I do beleive the auto industry took a putz in 75, when roger smith decided to homolgomate ALL of G.M.'s lines to please himself(after all, he WAS an accountant and NEVER a car man) and keep the costs down. HE ALONE is the reason G.M.'s in the state is in now. MONEY was his bottom line, not style, sellability, nor customer service, and I told ALL my bud's at work, he was gonna kill the company. Now, maybe his fate was WORSE than ours(GM employees), since HE was responsible for ALL this, and he's dead an buried. GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Heck Jody, It ALREADY LOOKS like 90% of the junk out there! Kinda jelly-beanish, like a furd! Jus put a blue oval on it an your good ta go!!!
  16. Hadta go back an check the time, Harry. Yeesh wadja do, SLEEP at the computer?!? Anyway, I'm happy jus ta have it(RoM) and You can post it ANY time you want!( Jeeeze, NOW he tells me! is probly wat yer thinkin,hu?)
  17. Thanks for the pics Alyn. Yeah, now I can see it's one of those Sonny Leonard Mountain motors. So at least it's NOT a stock engine. I'm told some of those bad boys are runnin up to 1200 horses! Yours DOES look good! Great lookin build so far!
  18. Jim, I hope you don't mind my askin, but WHAT kind motor is that? I've NEVER seen a Big Block Chevy with those kinda heads. ALL BBC heads have 3 bolt holes on the manifold side(top) and 4 bolt holes on the exhast side(bottom). So, being a chevy guy, I'm very curious. I KNOW it's a model, BUT WE DO try to maintain some semblance of reality. Could it be a rare set of aftermarket heads?
  19. Must be the water down there that makes you guys come up with this off the wall stuff! Funny thing is I LIKE IT, an I've never even had any! You Aussie guys REALLY have the motor thing down! But then again, WE got our short lived GTO from YOU guys!
  20. Gotta go with the crowd Dude, The wheels an tires are TOO pretty/clean to go with the rest of it. Dirty them rascals up a tad an you'll be good ta go! GREAT weathering job, looks real! I like it! Has the Cranky one seen this yet?
  21. Mike, I don't see any Convertable roof bolsters on the rear side panels, Did it start AS a convert, or did you use a hardtop? Either way, it looks GREAT! Nice color choice an wheels. Don't stop now.bro, GET R DUN!!!!
  22. Len, I've NEVER done this so I wouldn't take this as hard facts. BUT if you use some low tack tape, maybe like the Blue painters tape, it MIGHT NOT pull the decal off. All I can think of is the low tack stuff. Maybe you could try some "Magic Masker"? Just brush it on over the decal. Jus throwin out some ideas Bro, I hope you can use 'em.
  23. Nice build up! Looks good, but I think the color was called Marina Blue, just a shade lighter than their (GM's) Le Mans Blue. Still looks good though, whatever color it's called!
  24. Good Mornin Harry. I think this ones a good one Daddy-O. I also think it's REAL. Just too much little stuff on it that would be hard to reproduce in scale.Unless maybe it's 1/18th or somethin. Anyway, I'm goin with REAL!
