Well Stumpman, It certainly came out pretty nice for al the time invested! It sure looks like it was worth it! I love the color, an Nick F-40 should like it too!The Hemi decal UNDER the final color coat was a spiffy idea, an came out great! Now, I'm waitin ta see how your Nova comes out(I KNOW you got one in the wings),or if your gonna build a"road warrior" for the "Deth race" build off. Either way, I know it'll be another winner! Nuther little story from my youths, My buddy Lari had a 66 Rambler American with a (I think) 235 six in it. Well , Lari wanted a new 442(this was in 68)an since he was an only child, chances were pretty good he'd get it.But his Pop said there was nothing wrong with the Rambler.Soooooo, one nite, me an ol Lari, took it out to the tracks near his house, DRAINED the OIL AND WATER out of it and started that rascal up. He put a cinder block on the gas pedal an let er rip. We left, only to come back about 45 min layer, an that bad boy was still runnin! Lari figgured he wasn't gonna kill it, so we shut it down, put a gollon of used anti freeze that was in my trunk, an about 2quarts of oil in it(also from MY trunk) and started on his way back home.About a block or so from his house, it FINALLY died! Wouldn't start ever again, an Lari got a new car(his Ma's 67 Cutlass 4-dr, which he turned into a 67 442 4-dr)But let me tell ya, I NEVER made jokes about Ramblers again!

My best freind had a 82 Lincon Town car with a 302, an he ran that rascal DRY of OIL 5 different times. Each time it froze up an stalled, he just let it cool down, put some more oil in it , an it FIRED RIGHT UP! This happened to him AT LEAST 5 different times I was with him, an I started teasin him when we'd be out by tellin him to fill the oil an check the gas! It gave me a WHOLE new respect for the small block Ford.Still wouldn't own one if you GAVE it to me, But I got ALOT of respect for em!

GREAT BUILD Curt! That is my FAVORITE Can-Am car of all time! I have the coupe version by R&D unique and a couple of the old IMC roadster kits.I even have the Tamiya 1/12th coupe kit.Did you know George Lucas used those coupe versions in his first sci-fi flick"THX 1138"? He used em as cop cars cause he thought they looked futuristic.Like I said before, GREAT BUILD!!!

UHHHH,Iz I'm not a doctor(I just play one on TV),But I think you've been hangin with Bill Geary too much, cause you seem to have come down with a case of"Obsessiveitis" The ONLY way to treat this is to put as many details as possible into your builds. From what I've seen of your previous work , you've had this ailment for quite a while!My advice is to do NOTHING! it will probably go away when you die.Don't worry though, as it is not terminal.BUT as you have found, it IS contagious! Spread some my way, willya?

Clay, Big window means just that. The 56 F-100 could be had with a LARGE rear glass as opposed to the small rear window on the 53.The 53's glass was about 25in X 15in. The 56 large window went ALL the way across the rear of the cab, from right above the pick-up bed to the lower edge of the cab's roof.It was VERY large.

Dude, I'm with Marcos on this one, I got a few of those kits I haven't even messed with, But your build is just too clean to let em sit! GREAT BUILD! I ESPECIALLY like the way you foiled the louvers on the rear quarter panels! THAT little detail often goes over looked when guys build this model, But it makes ALL the difference in the world! Again, GREAT BUILD!!!!

OK I went back an took a better look an other than it beein a homemade up fixture it looks ok to me. I woulda used squred off u-bolts as opposed to U-bolts, but it looks like he put em where G.M. intended them to go,Again, AM I MISSING SOMETHING???!!! cuz it looks OK to me.

If you look close, you'll see that it's probly the way G.M. set it up originaly.Theres no provision to clear the brake lines, so it must have come like that from the factory. All I can see is that he put a block between the rear axle an spring.Isn't that How you instal lowering blocks? Only thing I can think of it's not beein right is , is there a u-bolt behind the axle? I can only see one in front of it. It NEEDS to have one on EACH side of the axle to hold it securely. Am I missing somethin?

Heck If its free, an it aint killt ya yet, go for it! jus mix it in future like Abell said. If its like a powder use a resperator( no sense in TRYIN ta kill yerself). I mean, if thats one of the ways they make Alcad, or even silver paint, wot could it hurt? Member, this IS AMERICA! land o the free!(thinkers)

It's lookin pretty good Clay. If you hadn't mentioned that the cab was primed an the bed wasn't, I wouldn't have noticed it. Isn't a whole lotta difference in the shades there. I do like the wheels too. Where'd ya get 8 of em?I mean you are runnin em on the truck too aintcha?Either way, it's lookin good kiddo!!! Great build!
